Some great tips here to keep your OH happy. But I’m sure most of you are following them already ?

Is it a joke or actual 1950's stuff? grin

My friend sent me it. She seemed to think it was a genuine extract from a 1950’s book.

Having said that I was born in the 50’s and I have no recollection of my Mum touching up her (non existent) makeup and putting a ribbon in her hair for Dad coming home!

Now I know where I went wrong ?

My mum used to do that. I remember her standing in front of the mirror putting on lipstick and combing her hair ten minutes before my dad got in, with the dinner ready to be put on the table..

I only put make-up on if I was going out. My husband didn't divorce me for no make-up and dinner when it was ready

And me crazyH. I could have done with this advice 30 years ago!

How many homes had washers, driers and dishwashers in 1950?
A spoof I think.

I did read a similar 'Christian Marriage' one with discreet references to sex i.e., the wife should never turn her husband down, even if tired or ill! grin

I’m going to post it on the family WhatsApp group for my son and SIL. I think their spouses will fall into line when they read it ?
