Hi all,
I always went barefoot then got fed up with having to wipe the soles of my feet as they always felt unclean (even though my house is spotless), so I bought some cheap black sliders from Tesco. What do you wear? X

Flip flops when it'warm, slippers when it's cold. Easypeasy!

Regarding MawB’s comment to Flyinghandbag-There’s no law as far as I’m aware as to how a text is written. Your comments in my opinion were unnecessary and should Flyinghandbag choose to end her texts in what is deemed a friendly gesture that’s entirely up to her. I think it makes her personality shine through though if ur apology was sincere and not sarcastic I’m glad.

The question was ‘what footwear do you wear indoors?’ Why are some of you so judgemental about other’s answers? If you want to wear wellies indoors that’s fine.

Cosy slippers in the winter, bare feet in the summer.

Slippers in winter, thicker slippers for when it’s really cold, flip flops for summer and fake crocs for the garden.
I dislike walking barefoot unless I am on a sandy beach...ah, well, I can dream.
Ps are sliders flip flops?

I have tiled floors throughout and always wear flip flops in summer and winter. I have always had a phobia about walking around in bare feet!

DD3 is very strict about making visitors to her home remove their shoes. She provides clean slippers. I’m not half so fussy at my house! It’s Liberty Hall here.?xxx

I'm going to try and be careful not to advertise, but my Sk****ers see me through every day indoors and out.

Barefoot

Crocs sandals. Look pretty stylish on , not like the originals, and if I wear them outside I run them under the tap and dry them.

Always slippers in the winter and a pair of flip flops in the summer. Never wear outdoor shoes in the house, there is enough cleaning to be done!

Had new carpets recently and bought two new pairs of slippers for guests, a ladies pair and a gents pair and everyone is fine with that. I always take my shoes off when visiting and when I go into a customers house (Avon Lady) I always slip my shoes off. Think it is only polite.

I rarely change my shoes. I live in a narrow boat. I know I should as zI sometimes have goose or swan poo stuck to bottom of my shoes. Oh well...It sweeps up easily. I do put cosy thick non slip socks on in the winter. x

Birkenstocks or bare feet

I wear Fit Flop shoes all the time. I have trainers. smart shoes, sandals - the range of styles they offer is enormous. They even have wellies! Their special soles cushion the feet so well that I can spend a whole day either working (I'm a photographer) or looking after small grandchildren and my feet always feel fine.

Bare feet, even in Winter.

Happysexagenarian Fri 26-Jun-20 09:11:32

The same footwear I would wear outdoors. I don't take my shoes off when I come in or wear slippers indoors. We have hard floors that are easily washed, though they're usually dirty anyway because of the dog.

Do you suppose HM wears slippers? Of an evening, maybe, when she can put her feet up on a posh pooffe in front of the telly

Moggycuddler Fri 26-Jun-20 09:06:10

Memory foam mules.

MawB what on earth is wrong with someone putting a kiss at the end of a post? That has to be the strangest thing I have ever read on here. There is nowt wrong with a kiss at the end of a post. People are entitled to put what they want. You are not in charge here. Flyinghandbag...you keep putting the kiss x

Froglady Fri 26-Jun-20 09:02:22

Slippers mainly - if I can remember where I have left them! I like roomy slippers that you just push your feet into, with a very small ridge at the back to keep your feet inside. (I don't want to have to bother to find a chair so that I can sit down while putting fitted slippers on.)

Hellsbelles Fri 26-Jun-20 08:59:46

Birkenstocks in the summer, cosy Hotter slippers in the winter.
