I'm going (online) shopping! What should I buy?

Hi all,
I am going online clothes shopping in the very very near future and I am trying to think what to get. I am starting this thread for help making my shopping list.

I don't have any occasion wear as I always buy for the occasion so as not to go to something wearing clothes I've already worn, so that is a possibility.

I have quite a lot of jeans and t-shirts so don't need them, I might get a few tops and some proper trousers.

Does anybody have any suggestions for what to buy? I don't need links as I have a specific website I would like to shop on, but I would like some suggestions of what to get.

Thanks all.
Take care,
FlyingHandbag. X

How about a nice pair of winceyette pyjamas, a candlewick dressing gown (at least 2 sizes too big) and some woolly bedsocks?

Any more thoughts or suggestions?

I've seen some nice half-price nighties. There was even one in a fabric that looked just like denim.

I think people often wear onesies these days instead of pyjamas..........

It really seems that you have all you want/need so I would suggest making a donation to Charity, perhaps one that sponsors girls living in appalling situations, that could help you and them to have a good life.

And in tomorrow’s exciting instalment....”.advice on which colour knickers to wear today please.“

Well, speaking for myself, I don't have a lot of choice grin

I need to find my alter ego

Why don’t you do what I do, FlyingHandbag - find something really nice, dither about buying it (I don’t really need it, do I?) go back 2 days later after thinking, No, but I really like it, - and find that it’s sold out!
At least it’s cheap!

Why are you posting on this thread when all you can do is sneer Lucca?

For all you GN’ers who are concerned about FH’s collapsed wall, she says it will be fixed after Lockdown ends.
Well, July 4th will soon be here, when LD is eased so much more, so we can all breathe easy and not worry so much about The Wall.

Phew!

Goodness, FH is still short of tops and pyjamas.

My pyjamas last me for ages.

I’m so pleased I don’t have to keep buying new ones.

I'm not short at all. I like to have lots of tops so I don't end up wearing the same ones on rotation. I also like to buy pyjamas as I got rid of a lot of pyjamas as I had them for years, so I want to replace them. X

What is the part time work you do, FlyingHandbag, when you are able to get back to it? Do you have to wear a uniform?

I work in an office. I wear what I like. X

*Does anybody have any suggestions for what to buy*

How about a very tall handbag to store all of your very tall tales in. You wouldn't even have to worry about it flying away given how heavy it would be.

Love it Bibi! ??

I don't have a clue about DIY, the wall will be sorted after lockdown. X

Mum is waiting until the shops calm down to go shopping, and my uncle's birthday is soon so I'll treat him then. X

Flyinghandbag Instead of ordering clothes why not order bricks and cement and watch a YouTube video on How To Mend a Brick Wall? wink grin

Not the bricks and cement for mending the wall then? Shame, as it would have benefited your parents.

*flyinghandbag*I'm still wondering if you have finished making the clothes for the Teddy. Please let me know what you made for him. Have you decided yet on what to order online. We're all waiting to hear. ?

Hi, I've only made an orange camisole as the clothes aren't needed for a while. I'm going to get some trousers, tops and pyjamas I think. X

Re the OP’s original post.

Back in May she treated herself to three tops and a beautiful pair of pyjamas, courtesy of her mum, so although she seems unclear about what she would like this time, probably not tops or pyjamas.

Kind mum smile
Maybe something for OP’s Mum then this time, instead of herself, or the kind uncle who bought her the photograph album?
