I'm going (online) shopping! What should I buy?

Hi all,
I am going online clothes shopping in the very very near future and I am trying to think what to get. I am starting this thread for help making my shopping list.

I don't have any occasion wear as I always buy for the occasion so as not to go to something wearing clothes I've already worn, so that is a possibility.

I have quite a lot of jeans and t-shirts so don't need them, I might get a few tops and some proper trousers.

Does anybody have any suggestions for what to buy? I don't need links as I have a specific website I would like to shop on, but I would like some suggestions of what to get.

Thanks all.
Take care,
FlyingHandbag. X

Re the OP’s original post.

Back in May she treated herself to three tops and a beautiful pair of pyjamas, courtesy of her mum, so although she seems unclear about what she would like this time, probably not tops or pyjamas.

I see we still get treated to a ‘x’ at the end of every post. Think MawB commented on it.

MawB got shot down in flames ? for commenting - despite not being the only person to do so grin

Still think OP’s question is daft for a variety of reasons
1) what does she need?
2) which website is she talking about?
3) what does it stock?
4) what is her budget?
5) what age group is she?
6) is she talking summer clothes? Winter clothes? Sale items?
7) how long is a piece of string.......?

How much pocket money have you got to spend FlyingHandbag?

glammanana Fri 26-Jun-20 12:32:47

I would wait until I could go out myself and decide what I wanted (or needed) something cashmere or linen wouldn't go amiss and always look classic I'm sure I think we all at the minute are bored with everything and feel the need to spend.
This morning I spent 2 hours buying toys for C-------s as presents for my smaller DGCs & GGCs all 50% off at Argos so that is one big problem out of the way for me,personally I am waiting to shop for myself at a later date.

I hope your contribution to the economy helps to keep some people in jobs.
Keep up the good work.

Instead of retail therapy, I wonder if you have ever thought of doing something like sponsoring an overseas child who is living in abject poverty. You would have regular updates about the child, and even receive letters from he or she. Spending money does sometimes give us pleasure, but how much more rewarding would it be to know that it was doing good.

Why not just keep your money until you NEED something?? Or are you just playing us all for FOOLS??

Because I want to buy things, I like to buy things often. X

Yes, the same as my grandson, he likes to buy things often.
I tell him he can have more when he earns it himself.?

Flyinghandbag Instead of ordering clothes why not order bricks and cement and watch a YouTube video on How To Mend a Brick Wall? wink grin

Awaiting today’s —inconsequential— bonkers thread with bated breath wink

We never did hear how/who repaired the wall, did we?

I do worry about the Mum and Dad, it must be rather dangerous for them with a collapsed wall just outside.

Did you finish making the clothes for the Teddy bear Flyinghandbag
