^You know I can't smile without you
I can't smile without you
I can't laugh and I can't sing
I'm finding it hard to do anything
You see, I feel sad when you're sad
I feel glad when you're glad
If you only knew what I'm going through
I just can't smile without you^
Evening All! Found that Barry M in a CD compilation I down-loaded a while back, so I just had to return. grin
Not with good news; our stats "worst ever today and if no improvement soon we could be heading for a lock-down extension after our current one ends in about 3 weeks. sad
The "Good Morning" weather reports not very summery!
We normally celebrate "Christmas in July", or rather restaurants do with inflated price lists and overcrowded accommodation, but not this year! The weather has been seasonal though, what with grey skies, rain, cold, 13C max., but at least the evenings are gradually getting lighter. Won't be long before some people will be complaining about the heat! Not me, especially if it burns off Covid! hmm
Poor B'mouth! relegated along with Watford after being promoted together not long ago!
Spoke with our granddaughter in Bideford the other day, Alison with her menagerie of "Pops" the parrot who passes the time of day talking to Millie her dog, and Joe her tortoise! He will be spending the winter in the Vet's frig. along with about 50 of his mates! It costs her about £40 for his Winter accommodation and she reckons it's worth it for peace of mind knowing he's safe and "cosy". I nearly said "warm" ! I can't help laughing thinking of her "family"! grin
Alison is a full time hospital nurse working with elderly patients, but fortunately no Covid problems!

Not much going on here! Nutters in Sydney are planning a mass meeting tomorrow to protest about anything you can think of, including, of course, the BLM crowd. The police appealed to the Supreme court, seeking to have it banned; the organisers also appealed and lost, but they reckon it will be safe and will go ahead. Crazy! Right when a second pandemic wave could be imminent. sad

Oh well! It's midnight and the doona beckons!

Snuggle down Rufus2. I thought you were getting a new duvet? It's like winter here today, poured rain all day and I've stuck the heating on. I've just had a panicky call from my DD as GS has fallen out of his highchair and hit his head. She is phoning nhs to get advice. He's stopped crying and laughing now but I suspect she'll be visiting A&E just to make sure. He's a climber! Take care

Rufus I always enjoy your posts. Full of optimism despite difficulties.
We have the Nutters here too who think it is fine to gather in large numbers and spread the virus around.

Keep safe.
