I’m beginning to feel sorry for Prince Andrew.

I never thought I would say this but I am genuinely beginning to feel sorry for him, after today’s revelations by Virginia Roberts. Everybody is entitled to a private sex life and as long as it doesn’t hurt children or animals, then i feel you are free to do what you like. The more that comes out, the more I feel it is a vendetta against him not Epstein. Do we need all the sordid details? Does it make any difference to the ongoing case? Love to hear your views from behind the sofa.

Purely to keep myself informed, you understand ? I read the article. Hardly salacious, was it?
It reminded me of a dominatrix that I knew in the early 2,000s. She was paid to suck toes. £120= 15 mins.
I won't bore you with the other details ?

I'm trying very hard and scraping around but no, I can't find any compassion for him.

It's amazing how men with daughters of their own can exploit other people's daughters. They must shut down a part of their brain.

This is from a book that she wrote and it was sealed and now unsealed? So she got money in 2000 and something but she's decided to press for the details to be made public? In order to put PA and Jacques Cousteau's granddaughter in court?

Is that it?

I'm just getting very confused about all this.

The young lady involved actually left Epstein and started her life with a new boyfriend

But then decided to go back to E and her sex work?

Out of everyone, I feel sorry for this woman's children

Compartmentalising. I think men tend to be better than women at this.

Apologies if I'm being sexist

Callistemon Fri 07-Aug-20 22:23:02

I think that's right though.

BlueBelle Fri 07-Aug-20 22:30:58

Do you have to read it bluebellewould ?

No I don't feel sorry for him!

£120 for 15 nins sucking toes sounds ok ?

annep1 Fri 07-Aug-20 22:45:10

mins not nins.

Callistemon Fri 07-Aug-20 22:57:03

It depends how clean they are!

annep1 Fri 07-Aug-20 22:59:24

Well yes I did think of adding that. They would have to be freshly scrubbed!

Oopsminty Fri 07-Aug-20 23:03:10

I'd need a lot more money than £120 to suck anyone's toes!

Missfoodlove Fri 07-Aug-20 23:09:37

My husband was asked to meet him as part of a charity project he was involved in.
The Prince basically wanted to pitch up with the paparazzi, smile for the cameras and leave.
My husband refused....... as did most of the people involved in the project.
This was way before his relationship with Epstein was exposed.
His reputation has always been poor.

You're joking right? Surely you are? Toes that are old, raddled and sweaty and then you'd suck them? Gah! Not for anything.

annep1 Fri 07-Aug-20 23:44:33

It beats the hourly rate I got in the Civil Service Chewbacca. And much more fun.

I would have thought that Lord and Lady Snooty would be thrilled if the Queen's son wanted to escort young Lucinda (on holiday from her finishing school) to a night club and then back to a friend's house for ....... Oh wait, they would expect him to propose afterwards! Poor lonely Andrew. Fortunately, he could phone a friend to provide a female companion for him and he cared not a jot who she might be.

Strange to despise rich men who take advantage of young girls, money seems the root of much of this case. Abuse of any young girl is vile , it’s abuse carried out by fathers, grandfathers, uncles which sickens me .

The person who claims to have seen him in Tramps that night,
had a glam photograph in the press, she remembers the
look of Giuffre’s face, the FIBI are not taking her allegations
further.

I’m not sure what this means?

It sounds like you don’t think any of the young girls in this scandal are victims?

I thought for sure that everyone would agree they were.

Also, what on earth does it matter what her photo looked like?

I’m really hoping that you either are expressing yourself poorly, or I am reading you poorly, as it sounds like rape apologising

I feel sorry for his two daughters in all of this. He can do what he likes in his own sex life but not with girls that young, he wasn't thinking with his head.

vegansrock Sat 08-Aug-20 05:50:20

Washing dirty linen in public is not a good look and I’ve no desire to read about PAs antics in any sphere of his life. There are some who like to blame the victims because they were given presents or money, forgetting the inequalities of wealth and power. It’s all too sleazy just to sell gossip. Sorry for the young impressionable girls and his family, not for him.

BlueBelle Sat 08-Aug-20 06:39:53

If he was innocent he would talk to the officials there is far too much pointing towards him being guilty He comes across as arrogant and believes he’s above any questioning
I have not read any lurid details or followed his story about his case beyond the headlines because it is mostly speculation and gossip by the papers to get the country revved up into a great scandal

dinks13 why do you feel sorry for him ?

Do we need all the sordid details ? bluebellewould obviously we do need them for you to be shocked when reading them I don’t understand that question at all as you obviously know all the story and latest information so you are one of the people they are written for .......Avoid them

ladymuck Sat 08-Aug-20 06:45:04

No, I don't feel sorry for him. However, I think what happened is history now and should be laid to rest.
He was a rich, handsome young prince, who made friends with the wrong sort of people. I'm sure having sex with him wasn't the ordeal it's being made out to be; the girls were no doubt well-paid and enjoyed the jet-set lifestyle while it lasted.

Bloody hell. The happy hooker. Yes that's what prostitution is like.

Does Virginia Guiffre ever consider the impact the constant re-telling of these brief but sordid aspects of her life will have on her children?

Anniebach Sat 08-Aug-20 08:32:04

BellsandWhisttles. The woman who claims she saw Andrew
and Guiffrie in Tramps that night ?

She didn’t know them, she was allegedly told by her companion it was Andrew, 20 years later she comes forward
and claims she saw them there that night, she remembers the
look on Guiffrie’s face .

She was not one of Epstein’s victims,

Hopefully they will grow up learning that victims should be able to speak out and that powerful men have no right to exploit young vulnerable women.
