tanith, mine had the correct name and licence....it was only an error in the text that made me read it twice.
My job is connected to the courts so I'm cautious anyway but I do think a lot of people could miss the details, especially now.

Never click on links, I never do, in emails or internet sites. I got viruses years ago just by doing that.

If it doesn`t come through the post it is more than likely a scam.
Apparently i have a large check awaitng for me from the tax dept.
All they need are my bank details.
I`m seriously thinking about writing a bogus load of bull shyte.

I got it too I deleted it straight away but it did look quite official although the licence quoted was wrong and was addressed ‘Dear so&so’ that alerted me.

This morning I received an email about my TV Licence, very official looking with accurate headers etc.
The email spoke about a problem with my direct debit and how to fix it!

It's a complete scam...it infuriates me that people could actually fall for this, as the perpetrators of these frauds are becoming very clever in the wording and content of emails.

I'd urge everyone to be very cautious of emails and never click on a link within them.
