Bad film remakes

It was my misfortune to catch the 1973 remake of Lost Horizon with added singing and dancing. I thought it was awful! The original, however, was full of mystery and tension. This got me thinking about other bad remakes, for example Psycho. Do you know of other turkey remakes?

I watched Dr Doolityle recently (Robert Downey Junior), with my GC. It was really awful. A terrible script, hammy acting, a stupid storyline, and nothing whatsoever like the original (Rex Harrison), which had a certain charm about it.

Even the irritating Eddy Murphy was better, as Professor Clump, in the other re-make.
