Had to pay the landlord an extra fiver a week, but he has extended our lease, phew! Safe again for a while for all Argy Bargies wanting a sit down and a pint of something, whilst getting things off their chests.???

Do you mean your pj’s Phoenix ? I know you’re an old gal but try to stay up after 8.30 on Friday!

lemongrove Wed 21-Oct-20 20:49:47

I think I may put Thor, Gloopy and Achilles in collars too, the kind with metal studs in, they need bringing to heel now and then.
I will do a bit of baking tomorrow, this prison breakout stuff is hungry work.

lemongrove Wed 21-Oct-20 20:45:35

I have sourced a load of old prison gear for us ...hope you all like denim?
I intend to be very strict with the inmates on Friday, have already got the cattle prod and a whip ( borrowed from Madame Whiplash down the alley.)
Dogs and llamas are all to wear collars and leashes.

Evening all, pint of champagne in a straight glass please, hold the cherry and the umbrella.

Gather there's a bit of a do planned for Friday, hoping to join you but might depend if I'm back in the old arrow striped "leisure wear" ?

That’ll be me then. Thank you ?
I think we need some cosy pet baskets for Friday as I’ve invited the Doghouse 4 to bring their furry friends. I will try and put the llamas behind bars (in keeping with our theme) to keep them out of trouble.

Argy voddy, that's a good name!
I was thinking of holding a competition to name it, winner of the Best Name Competition wins the first bottle ever produced, worth a fortune!

85% Argy voddy . Just what we need. With that and the poteen and the slop we will be doing a great trade on Friday.
Anyone come up with ideas for decorating the bar with our prison outbreak theme?

Callistemon Wed 21-Oct-20 17:53:56

I'm turning the rest of the potato peelings into Argy's very own vodka, 85% proof

AGAA4 Wed 21-Oct-20 16:36:28

Poteen is ready now. I have added some extras to give it a bit of a punch. 2 bottles of port, 2 of vodka and a bottle of Dettol.

Thor and I have been busy in the cellar all day.

What are you giving to those llamas? They only eat fish and chips and pasties washed down with poteen. Better keep the mop handy. Not sure what effect slop will have on their digestion. Stand well back!

Callistemon Wed 21-Oct-20 13:10:45

I've just made another batch of veg peelings soup, very tasty.
Do make sure not to scrape the bottom of the bucket, though, because I didn't scrub the vegetables very well this time.
Someone took my veg scrubber to clean the floor and the llama trod on my specs and broke them.

??

I can see that Maw has been in with her mop and bucket, so good to see gleaming tabletops ( doesn’t happen often!)
Any chance of some veg peeling soup on the go?
I shall be in on Thursday to see how things are progressing, and will spend the afternoon hard at work with Achilles in the cellar.?

Callistemon Tue 20-Oct-20 23:53:21

I put the very best of all the vegetable peelings into that and now the llama's eaten it all !

Doodle Tue 20-Oct-20 23:22:57

Hmm looks a bit tasty. I might try a bowl myself ?

Callistemon Tue 20-Oct-20 23:16:29

I was just going to post - Gonzales has eaten the first bucketful.
Greedy pig llama.
Now he's snoring; he must be keeping everyone awake.

Doodle Tue 20-Oct-20 23:07:21

Great ideas Callistemon . Slop sounds good. I think that’s what the llamas have for lunch every day ?

Callistemon Tue 20-Oct-20 22:26:39

Fruit cakes with files in the middle, 'Doodle'.
The kind to file through bars (not the Argy), not folders.
I'll make some slop, always goes down well, usually down my front.

Brilliant Maw. lemon always comes up with themed drink names for our Friday night themed parties.
There you go lemon one Hair of the dog for Maw and I’ll have one too please.

LauraNorder Tue 20-Oct-20 22:01:35

Sit ye down Maw and I'll fetch a llama to lick away l'eau de doghouse. Careful Lemon doesn't accidently prod you with her cattle prod when she welcomes you, it'd be worse than the strategically placed ginger she used last time. Nice to see you.

MawB2 Tue 20-Oct-20 20:54:38

Line them up Joe!
Hair of the dog time

LauraNorder Tue 20-Oct-20 20:51:43

Shall I create a cell custody suite in the corner, I'll leave some handcuffs and a truncheon for Lemon in case George gets frisky

AGAA4 Tue 20-Oct-20 20:47:17

Instead of a getaway car we could have a getaway llama. Those boys can run.

lemongrove Tue 20-Oct-20 20:17:49

Am I allowed to carry an electric cattle prod??

Doodle Tue 20-Oct-20 20:00:28

Callistemon I’ve just put out the word on the party in soop’s kitchen. We don’t know how many to expect so will you help me make some themed party food.
Rock cakes for those doing hard time.
Hot dogs for the Doghouse 4
Porridge I suppose we must. ?
We should serve the food on metal plates and provide buckets for ........ablutions blush

Callistemon Tue 20-Oct-20 19:54:52

Sorry, just practising my Great Escape on Gonzales.
I'm playing a bit of Pat Boone over here.

Doodle Tue 20-Oct-20 19:51:56

Porridge.....didn’t we have enough of that with Goldilocks on the panto night, ?. Never mind. We’ll get to it.
Anyone around to lend a hand. Someone pop jailhouse rock on to get us in the mood. ?
