They are to be worn in local lockdown areas and secondary schools only. So TwiceAsNice year 7 will not have to.

I'm not sure wearing a mask is "suffering".
It's inconvenient, a pain in the bum, but well...

We need to keep up with the latest advice to keep people from really suffering, if the virus was to take a real hold.

One of our GC is old enough to be in the age group which will have to wear a face covering. They are on the Autistic Spectrum at a main stream High School, it will be difficult but with help from family and teachers I am sure they will cope.

The WHO and scientists worldwide are constantly changing the advice given as they learn more about how Covid-19 works

I’m not sure I agree that the WHO can be relied on either . They keep changing the goalposts on what I observe as little evidence and in the beginning of Covid did not even pass on promptly the information they had. I’m afraid I think Boris just gives in to whoever has a stronger opinion at the time and also think he is influenced by Scotland.

I think I’m extra disappointed because I actually voted for him thinking he would be a decisive leader, how wrong I was!

TwiceAsNice the PM has listened to the latest guidance from WHO, and acted accordingly. If he had ignored the current advice he would be admonished for that.

I am very annoyed at the government changing their mind yet again this time on the subject of school children wearing masks for moving between areas.

Our children have suffered enough , their risk level is tiny and teachers will be two metres apart whilst teaching them. It is too stressful to do this and be able to have a normal day.

When is Boris going to have enough guts to make his own decisions and stick with them. I’m hopping mad with him, my granddaughter suffers from anxiety and wearing a mask makes her worse. She and her twin are starting in year 7 next week . For goodness sake Boris grow a pair! It does appear as if year 7 might not be included as currently its saying from 12 and I so hope things will improve before their birthday next summer.
