I dont think that the 'Local' threads are used much now, Mick.

The Meetup threads are a good place to start but it's also a good idea to put the area in the OP.

And make the title of your new thread under the "Meetups and Where are you" topic into "Anyone in Malvern or Worcester?" as well as putting it into the post. Then people from there who are looking down the list of titles can see at a glance where you are and be drawn into it. Otherwise your thread gets lost in among all the others.
