I mentioned on the Good Morning thread that I thought I had a UTI and, by 11 am,bit was sure.
I rang 111 and spoke to a lovely woman who did all the questions, agreed that it looked as though I was right and said that she would send my details and the assessment to a chemist 15 miles away. Who would provide me with antibiotics.
I had heard that some chemists could do simple prescribing and think it entirely sensible. So, I rang the pharmacy only to be told that none of it was true.
So, I rang 111 again, did the whole assessment again and was told I would hear from a medical practitioner with in 24 hours.
The phone just rang and I was told that I will get a home visit 'sometime'.
I am flabbergasted. I've only got a UTI!
