My friend has just been to deliver the wheelchair I am borrowing.
She was fuming having just had a very acrimonious conversation with GP surgery’s receptionist.
She was very abrupt and confrontational, demanding details of my friend’s problem and telling her she should never ring the surgery ,only go online with details and photographs.
I think stress is making us all so short tempered, it all boils over.

The think GN is following the rest of the world it is getting crazier and it some circumstances nastier by the day!!!!

Please don’t let the b***ers get to you EV ?????

Very tired after being on holiday and not getting home until 1.30am after spending a few hours on the M42 last night trying to return home (roadworks). Unpacked, washing on and feel that I need another holiday to get over this! DH just brought me a cuppa - that. might help!

You weren’t the only poster on that thread who had posts deleted, Ellan - my attempt at humorous, lighthearted responses was deemed “ not in the true spirit of GN”

A late good morning from sunny N Hants. Like another poster as I’ve absolutely nothing on today I wasn’t going to post, but would like to add my voice to others to EllanVannin not to stop posting. Along with so many others on this lovely thread you have the gift of making ordinary life interesting and humorous. I’d like to thank you all for starting my days in the best possible way.

Morning all, it's pleasant here in South Notts. The washing is out on the line and there's a little breeze.

A quietish day - I may or may not get a visit from sister, I really don't know at the moment. If not I'll sit and sew though I really should be tidying up.

Thank you Cherry it’s actually a kidney and abdominal scan - the bloods last week showed low thyroid levels but that is normal for sighthounds, but the urine sample showed the presence of protein which is worrying

However that is very minor compared to much of what is going on and happening to Grans- and I wish you all well.

I should actually get on and do things ?. There is so much to do around the house. My WP is brilliant and does so much but with his chronic pain I can't contemplate him doing everything.

Hope you are back with us soon gillybob. I think dragonfly might be a little while before she returns.

Good morning all. Very windy and quite chilly again here in the north of Scotland. I am considering a fleeting visit to a local garden centre tomorrow after they receive their weekly delivery and I have the widest choice. I don’t really need to research what is best to buy for the chilly winters here as they are very good at stocking what will survive and if I request something I used to grow elsewhere they kindly tell me that it wouldn’t survive the winter. I love their honest approach.
For no good reason I had a strangely unsettled night so a quiet day for me, watching a series that popped up on BBC iPlayer, “Land Girls” and finishing a very complicated jumper - the sewing up. My wee bauchle of a nana used to do that for me when she came to stay.

I wasn't going to post today as I had such a dreadful night's sleep my brain is a bit scrambled and didn't think I'd be making much sense....
But
I felt I must join others in saying how sorry I am that EV has been reported and no longer feels able to post as much as before. Please dont stop Ellan, I love your gentle posts on this thread and look forward every morning to find out what you'll be eating that day. You would be very missed.

Good morning everyone from Malaga where I’m late posting owing to a poor WiFi signal this morning (?why).

Tuesday = my ladies who wine afternoon. I missed last week because of my bug so there’ll be catching up to do. I think bank accounts in the UK for those who are resident here will be one topic of discussion.

Good Morning all from sunny Harrogate - shall have to be quick, there is washing to hang out as I await the return of DH who took the dog in the car for a walk!! After his return and morning coffee there's plenty of baking to do, should have been done yesterday but was too busy updating my macbook after buying an external hard drive.
