Morning all,

Welcome back Charley and Phoenix - thank god for that !!I have so many banners for freeing the Doghouse 4 and Grey and I were digging you a tunnel too !!

Lets hope for a little sanity to prevail now at GNHQ .

A little cat would be lovely Soop - I hope you get your wish.

I'm off but will return later to find out who's in and who's out lol x

Hellogirl Tara was in and out of the dog house, loved by the others. Yesterday she spent the entire day with me, going out only for 39 minutes. I do not think she felt well but I did not really know what was wrong. We return to the vet in a week to discuss her hyperthyroidism and no doubt me to fork out more money.

Thanks all again for your support.

Good morning in the lovely warm kitchen. Fabulous moon and Venus in the Eastern sky right now. A bit of gardening today with some baking. I've got to stay positive. Opticians tomorrow. Stay safe and sane during these mad ? days. Love to all.

A really tough decision Galen but I'm with Gary for coffee and walnut cake. Welcome back Phoenix.
Hope soop, Ann and Cherry have a good night.

Welcome back CharleyG and Phoenix! CharleyG, was Tara allowed into the doghouse with you, hopefully after the dogs were let out?
Ann, so sorry you`ve not been feeling well, things will get better, but carry on doing exactly as you`ve been told.
Soop, nice to hear that your feeling more like you. I hope that MacS brings the little cat back home with him, or I can see you staking out the fruit shop till it turns up!
Corner, so sorry about your neighbour.

Galen Tue 13-Oct-20 22:19:12

Gary wants coffee and walnut! I’ll bring some into the kitchen after he’s had some ( could be a small portion ?)

phoenix Tue 13-Oct-20 22:06:42

You are all, indeed, kind!

Thank you all for the good wishes posted on here during the exile.

They were read and very much appreciated. thanks

Welcome back phoenix. Lovely to have you with us, ?

annodomini Tue 13-Oct-20 21:48:58

Hello, phoenix. You've at last discovered the companionship of the kitchen! Good to see you back in circulation. You are safe here!

Grandmafrench Tue 13-Oct-20 21:39:46

And she rises from the ashes ! Huzzah also ? ? ??

Grandmabatty Tue 13-Oct-20 21:38:28

Galen why not make both? There are plenty of us. ?

Nannytopsy Tue 13-Oct-20 21:32:53

Huzzah!

phoenix Tue 13-Oct-20 21:28:11

charleygirl welcome back. So glad you’re home with Tara and not still in the Doghouse. Phoenix if you’re out welcome back to you too. We have missed you all.
To the Doghouse 2 . Keep strong and we’ll have you back soon.

ann sorry you are in such pain. Hope that stops soon. Take care.

soop hope you are feeling a bit better too.

Galen make both please and send some to me before Gary gets his mitts on them ?

Nannytopsy Tue 13-Oct-20 20:45:49

Phoenix are you out there? Welcome back to the kitchen!

Charleygirl5 Tue 13-Oct-20 20:43:18

Again thank you all. Phoenix is also out of the dog house so only two are left. All I can say is that phoenix had a struggle.

soop A cat to keep you warm during the winter months would be superb- I do hope that lady finds this poor soul.

Galen Tue 13-Oct-20 20:34:07

Trying to decide whether to make coffee and walnut or chocolate cake tomorrow.
I really can’t cope with decisions one has to make in retirement!

Grandmabatty Tue 13-Oct-20 18:53:21

Soop job done. Pun intended. ? The boy ate prodigious amounts today hence two rather unpleasant nappies. I'm now feeling a bit dodgy as I had egg in the hole as well as him and fried bread is not good for my digestion. I hope that little black cat comes back. Annsixty ? please take the painkillers you are allowed. I hate to think of you in pain. This is a lovely gentle thread. Have a good evening all.

Nannytopsy Tue 13-Oct-20 18:37:57

Welcome back Charleygirl!
??
I am torn - love carrot cake and sticky toffee pudding. Perhaps half a portion of each? ?
??? for all who are in pain, worried or saddened by the loss of friends and neighbours.

Puzzler61 Tue 13-Oct-20 18:09:46

Thank you downtoearth, budge over a bit and I’ll join you by the fire with a dish of sticky toffee pud please. It’s one of my favourite puds (although I have many) ?
? fingers crossed MacS gets your text, and finds the cat soop. It will be very lucky if it gets a home with you two.

downtoearth Tue 13-Oct-20 17:47:13

Good evening to everyone sticky toffee pudding and creamy custard for anyone who wants dessert after their evening meal...calorie free of course.

Still learning the way of life in the kitchen, but nice to see Ann back and hoping she is soon free of pain.

soop hope you get your wish and the little stray comes home with MacS

I shall quietly just over by the fire and listen to the chatter.smilebrew

soop Tue 13-Oct-20 17:00:09

Purplepixie The pain of losing a much loved animal is hard to bear. I sent a text message to MacS and asked him to look out for the cat. Thing is, he hardly ever checks his messages.

Lins I love Sam. He looks stressed. Are you sure that he's comfortable? wink
Carrot cake with cream cheese icing. I'm ready and waiting in a very disorderly queue.

Grandmabatty Smelly nappies have a way of demanding urgent removal. Can't think why. grin

MacS should be home very soon. Should he bring a thin black cat into the house, you will hear my screams of delight wherever you may be.
Campbeltown is a large town. The cat could be anywhere right now. Should it return to the shop in which it was spotted earlier today, there's a chance that the lady in the village may get to know. She's prepared to return tomorrow to look for it. Oh dear! My heart is all of a flutter.

Until we meet again tomorrow...thank you ALL yet again. flowers sunshine wine cupcake smile moon

Grandmafrench Tue 13-Oct-20 16:36:56

Oh DO get the cat......imagine what a fantastic life it would have sharing your home and your views, soop. The poor little soul would think he had won the Moggy Lottery and I think it would be just the cheery up you need until you are in full working order again.

I have 3 so don't need a cat, but I'll take the dog if you're asking, Lins grin. (Totally edible little chap).
