Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and wet here in Brackley this morning .
Had the very quick flu jab yesterday , where I live.
Also yesterday, I watched Bargain Hunt which is one of two progs on consecutive Mondays from the Antiques Cellar in the town , it with host Eric Knowles must have been filmed in the past 6 weeks , social distancing , and in this case the auction was done as a internet link .
Today , my usual day out to Buckingham and Bicester , after some housework before I go and get the bus .
take care ,
Mick

Good Morning All x ----and those to arrive.
No, I haven't wet the bed ( being earlier than usual ) I smelt a smell ! One of the cats had left its calling card behind the back kitchen door, fortunately no carpet so I had to set-to and sort it. Crumbs, that cleared the sinuses !! Bleach/Dettol and Zoflora, rubber gloves and mop and bucket ( mask )Sorted.

Realised that none of the cats went out last night, my own fault.

Anyway so far it's bright out with the makings of a decent day. Expected parcel didn't arrive yesterday so another day of " listening out " in case I miss it so will have to hoover in fits and starts, or perhaps dust.

Just heard the sound of Autumn, a flock of geese have flown across the sky chattering loudly fit to beat the band, dozens of them---a lovely sight in their V shaped flight. Now a robin has just appeared to say good morning, how lovely.

I don't know what I'm having for dinner yet but I do have some apple crumble left in the fridge. I might just make some creamed mushrooms on toast, nice and easy.

Hope everyone's alright and still taking care when out. News isn't good at all is it ?
Thoughts to those with the struggles and who are finding things tough going xx flowers
Take care all and stay safe.

Good morning all from another typical, sunny Autumn morning in Glasgow. It's only 2°C.

Nothing much planned today. We were planning a run down the Ayrshire coast today and had booked a table for lunch, as tomorrow is our wedding anniversary. However, just as I finished booking, I received a message saying my injections were being delivered at lunchtime! They usually come, first thing.? I will now need to think of something to make for dinner, which is an even bigger disappointment.?
I was sure I agreed on next Tuesday. ?.
It was probably my fault, it usually is. ?

Yesterday on a whim, while DH was playing golf, I went to our local M&S outlet, where I used to wander for hours pre Covid.
It is closing down and has been stripped and decimated, The remaining items , are fit only for a jumble sale!
I did, however treat myself to a half price, lone cashmere jumper in a beautiful lilac colour. It was just sitting there on its own with my name on it.
My justification was that I would have bought a few on my recently, cancelled Rome trip. That's my excuse, but it doesn't really stand up to scrutiny.?

Unfortunately, I had forgotten that it was bank holiday weekend here and the majority of shops were closed. I was home in an hour, which must be a record for me! ?

Kate, good luck with your hospital appointments and happy birthday to Taichinan, I hope you have a lovely day. ???

Missing Gilly and BlueSapphire.
Have a good day all.

Good Morning from a drizzly and dark Black Country. What a contrast from a few days ago.

No real plans today. Housework and ironing all done, so the world is my Lobster smile

Good luck at the Hospital NanKate I hope your appointments are for nothing too serious.

Happy Birthday Taichinan cupcake flowers

Wishing you all a good day, with special thoughts of gilly

Good morning Mick and all, we’ve had rain overnight in S Hants and it’s still cloudy, warmer though. Off to get a couple of keys cut, managed to lock myself out yesterday and DD, who did have a spare, doesn’t for some reason. Other than that a quiet day,
Happy Birthday ? to Taichnan enjoy your special day. Everyone, including those with troubles, have a peaceful day too.

Good morning All from a cold and bright Polmont. The temperature is up and down on a daily basis here! I'm on my second day of toddler watch. I ended up very early to bed last night with a really sore head and missed hammering nails into wood and making a picture at my zoom craft class . I'll catch up with that another time. So a walk to the swings is on the menu for today and I'll make a chicken curry for dinner. Have a good day all.

Morning all from a dull (at the moment!) North Leicestershire.

We also had flu jabs yesterday and my arm is slightly sore this morning. We tgen went to see DS2 as it was his birthday and had the bonus of seeing his partner and dgs2. We sat in his garden amongst all his plants. It amazes me that Mr Rebellious loves his garden so much. I did remind him how much he hated cutting the grass when he was a teenager.

We also video called Lovely, Little Lottie who was thrilled with her birthday clothes - phew!!

Today it is our eldest granddaughter's 12th birthday - and she also asked for clothes! It's been an expensive time!!

It is DH's younger brother's 72nd birthday today too. Sadly, he has Alzheimer's.

I'd better get up and get going as our lovely gardener is coming to make a start on the autumn jobs. And, I need to buy carrots for a chicken stock.

Good morning not quite sure what the weather is doing as it is still murky.

DH wants to go for a coffee this morning in town so will wrap up warm so we can sit outside.

Hope everyone has a good day. Where is gilly?

Pittcity Tue 29-Sep-20 07:18:18

Good morning from a grey, damp Colchester.
Tuesday is my day for charity shop volunteering. Will be wearing a mask on the shop floor. I can see us popping in and out all day for a breather.

Bellasnana Tue 29-Sep-20 07:17:07

Oh I think it’s Taichnan’s birthday today so many happy returns and I hope you enjoy your day.???

Bellasnana Tue 29-Sep-20 07:15:27

Good morning everyone, from Malta where it is already sunny and warm. The humidity level is 82% so it’s going to feel sticky.

I’ve already done my workout so feeling virtuous as it’s always a bit of an effort to get started.

Going to have my nails done later. DGD sends me a design she has made every month so I think I am going to have pumpkins and autumn leaves today! grin.

Has anyone heard from gillybob? It’s not the same without her. I hope she is ok.

Wishing you all a good day whatever you are doing.sunshine

Morning from a bright and going-to-be sunny south Cornwall. I can hear them putting up the Tuesday market stalls in the town centre just down the road so will go there later and buy some veg and a plant or two. Then to the library to collect a knitting book. Coffee at a pavement cafe and after that I've no idea! The world and my crutches are my oyster. I wish! Have a good, safe day everyone.

NanKate Tue 29-Sep-20 07:11:47

Morning Mick and All.

Grey morning in South Bucks.

Off to Windsor today to the Hospital for 2 Face to Face (with masks) consultations one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We will sit by the Thames in between times eating our sarnies and watching the hundreds of swans.

mumofmadboys Tue 29-Sep-20 07:08:07

Good morning all! Another one sipping tea in bed! We are meeting another couple today for a walk and a pub lunch. Looking forward to it. Just off for a short cycle ride soon. Have the painters here doing the outside windows too. Have the best day you can all.

Urmstongran Tue 29-Sep-20 06:53:34

Another early bird here! Good morning everyone from Malaga where it’s not sunrise yet. Another half hour. It’s dark and I’ve just sat out on the balcony with a cuppa.

Yesterday the beach was almost empty. So quiet. I listened to my iPod on shuffle, had a gorgeous lunch in ‘Pinocchio’s’ a very nice Italian restaurant on the marina. We were the only punters. So sad to see a place with more staff than customers. Goodness knows how all this is going to pan out (pun not intended there!).

Tuesday = my Ladies Who Wine day. Yay! ??. Good friends and always good conversation and a laugh. 4 of the ladies (there will be 7 of us today) have lived here permanently for years and have taken up residencia.

Hope Tuesday is good to us all. Keep safe everyone that’s the main thing. x

Good Morning all.
Just a bit grey and drizzly here in Oxfordshire.
Work soon and that's about it.
Yesterday I popped into local shop on the way to work and a lady (complete stranger) said "I love the colour of your cardi...really suits you"
Absolutely made my day and reminded me that a smile and a kind word can go a long way...especially in these strange times so I have taken that on board!
Have a good day everyonesmileflowers

Sar53 Tue 29-Sep-20 06:45:38

Good morning from a wet Essex by the sea, but not as cold as a few days ago.
We need a new fridge/freezer but we live in a second floor flat and most places won't deliver a new one and take away the old one at the moment. Our freezer is full but needs de-icing, we are going to try a quick fix with my hairdryer this morning !!!!!!
No other plans today.
Happy Tuesday to you all, take care and stay safe xx

Susan56 Tue 29-Sep-20 06:44:30

Good morning from Shropshire.

Up with the lark today as about to set off to Stafford to look after DGS for the day.

Have a good day all.

cornergran Tue 29-Sep-20 06:44:06

Morning Mick, morning All. Think it’s dry in our corner of Somerset, haven’t opened the curtains so am going by the weather forecast. Dentist for me this afternoon, usual wobbles about it but of course it will pass. It will be such a relief if the toothache goes. I should sort my mobile contract, SIM only, if I understood the message received from the provider it would be easy. Can put it off no longer.

Mr C is still sleeping, I hope that means his hand has settled. Looked an almost normal size yesterday evening and it seems was much less painful. It would be good if he realised his head might be 17 but his body isn’t hmm. The telephone call from the consultant worked so well yesterday, we were both reassured and cheered by it.

Take care everyone, special thoughts for those with worries of any kind.

Beechnut Tue 29-Sep-20 06:43:03

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s cloudy ,dark and damp. The forecast is for a nice day with rain for a while so I am going out this morning and hope to potter in the afternoon. I thought I’d like to visit The Range as I haven’t been in one for quite a few years.

Have a good day all especially the good morningers on holiday ?

grandMattie Tue 29-Sep-20 06:32:45

Good morning from a drizzly E Kent.
My weekly outing to supermarket. Tai chi this a.m.
Seeing the podiatrist too. My word! I know how to live...
Have a good day everyone. Stay safe.

MawB2 Tue 29-Sep-20 06:32:08

Good morning all from N Bucks where it is pitch black and there seems to be a fine drizzle so I am retreating back to bed with a mug of tea while I consider my options!
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

Pantglas2 Tue 29-Sep-20 06:26:07

Morning Mick - I’m back on early shift today ?

Seems I’ve had my seven hours and am ready to rouse the dawn chorus whilst I enjoy the chamberpot in a dry and dark north Wales ???????

Some sewing this morning, using some throws from the sitting room to make cushion covers for the conservatory which is having a mini makeover! Have ordered some chequered throws from Dunelm for the settee and chairs and it will be properly sorted for the autumnal sitting therein!

Will pop along later to see all your bizzinesses x
