it crossed my mind right from the outset, but surely even trump wouldn't stoop this low?
How would he gain the complicity of the medics, white house staff etc who would surely be perjuring themselves to agree to such a stunt ?
no, i don't think it was a stunt but he is surely playing it for all it's worth, starting with the farcical drive by to his 'fans'!

I feel this is going to be the end of America as we have known it. They certainly need God at the moment.

I am not so sure he will be gone in November; there appears to be plenty of support from his brainwashed supporters. How anyone with a modicum of intelligence can still think he should serve another term is totally beyond me. America seems a very dangerous place to live at the moment and if he stays I fear for its future.

Absolutely!

Hopefully he will be gone soon, not long until November.

Whitewave, I've just been reading about the plan to kidnap and kill the State Governor and take over the government of the state. Weapons and of course gun stocks found. Thank goodness for the FBI.
Trump supporters heard him say earlier in the pandemic that the State of Wisconsin should be liberated from the Governor. Her cautious response to Covid made him very angry, he claimed she was shutting the state down etc etc. This group of men put their plan in action as a direct result. Now Trumps response is to describe the Governor as a complete phoney. No praise for the FBI, no support for a woman whose home was subject to surveillance by men who planned to murder her.
The USA is becoming an increasingly dangerous place with this Potus.

Should have proof read! But you get the point I hope.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 09-Oct-20 09:27:01

An aside.

The FBI prevented a major incident by Trump supporters this weekend by arresting and charging a number of people who were intending within a couple of weeks to kidnap and kill the Wisconsin State Governor and take over the government along with possibly starting a civil war. A number if weapons and bombs were discovered.

Trumps reaction?

“The Governor is a complete phoney.“

Nothing about condemning those arrested, nothing about congratulating the FBI for there work. No word to ask if the Governor is OK.

I’m not sure Trump is human.

Trump is a perfect physical specimen and extremely young. That's what he said this week...........

Vegansrock I have come to the same conclusion. The man is completely delusional and seemingly getting more unhinged by the day.

vegansrock Fri 09-Oct-20 04:22:20

Trump is a grotesque figure in the mould of a 17th century overblown monarch or emperor, hence the carefully curated tan, hair, manicures, gold lifts etc. How anyone can support someone who pays no tax, calls injured servicemen “losers”, mocks the disabled etc is beyond me. The only explanation is that his supporters share a similar IQ to their orange icon.

Spice101 Fri 09-Oct-20 02:01:57

The man is delusional. The following is reported as a quote from him during a TV interview.

“I’m back because I am perfect physical specimen and I’m extremely young, and so I am lucky that way,” he said.

^“I don’t have heart problems, I don’t have diabetes…perhaps a couple of pounds I could lose here or there.

“And remember this: you catch it, and then you get better, and then you’re immune!”^

In my opinion he has completely lost his marbles! To say it was a blessing from God, well to be honest, words fail me. The man’s completely mad. Poor Melania.

He now says he is not contagious!!

Ellianne Thu 08-Oct-20 11:38:05

I remember a quote once,
"It's strange how every man believes God is on his side. I wonder how many God feels are on his."

If God gave him this illness, I can only imagine that the devil must up with the 'cure'!

Gwenisgreat1 Thu 08-Oct-20 11:23:01

Have to admit I have my suspicions, and hope if he has it he will recover and find humility!! Time will tell. Can't say Biden would make a particularly good president either. Find it difficult to believe a country of this size could only find a couple of codgers to be the future president!!!!

3nanny6 Thu 08-Oct-20 11:22:43

Somehow I think that God would have done the job properly and given us all a break. Whoops I could not resist saying that.

LauraNorder Thu 08-Oct-20 11:16:54

Well if God gave him covid, I'd say even God is trying to get rid of him.

3nanny6 Thu 08-Oct-20 11:12:40

Trump said "My illness was a blessing from God" does he mean his mental derangement by that? In my opinion he is not ill enough to really have had Covid all a stunt.

It reminds me of our own Boris saying " I have had enough of hearing about this pandemic, we the British people are going to build a New Jerusalem and beat this thing."
To me he has also had a vision of God.
Heaven help us all.

Once this dreadful man has gone (sooner rather than later I hope) there will be so many books, films, plays, theses etc. etc. about him. He will truthfully be able to say that there will be more written about him than anyone else, ever! I bc assume there are systems in place for when or if he refuses to leave the WH. I think there are.

Annaram1 Thu 08-Oct-20 10:56:52

I wait to see if Remdesivir can be given to millions of Americans. That alone will ensure his return to power. Besides the BBC news and Sky I also watch RT and Aljazeera. Keep an open mind and look at those channels. This morning they showed thousands of men in military gear marching to uphold the gun lobby. I am so glad I dont live in that benighted country. Land of the free and home of the brave? Not.

maddyone Thu 08-Oct-20 10:45:10

I’m puzzled. Why do people vote for him? Why would anyone vote for him in the coming election? I simply don’t understand the attraction.
