Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but its dry outside , my usual trip out today on the buses, and say hello to those I have got to know .
It will Buckingham ,and then Bicester have a coffee and a snack there in cafe at the back of the bakery shop , then browse in Sainsburys before getting direct bus home .
This afternoon the Giro continues on Eurosport and watch the drama unfold.
Take Care ,
Mick

Cherry, may you what? ?

Have a peaceful night, Cherry.

Kalu Tue 13-Oct-20 19:55:36

How could I have missed you out Charley. Hope you and Tara have a cosy night together now that she knows you are amongst friends again. Welcome back.

LauraNorder Tue 13-Oct-20 19:43:02

Have a lovely sleep CherryCezzy, free from seizures and full of sweet dreams.
Nighty night all

CherryCezzy Tue 13-Oct-20 19:40:01

I wasn't going to post again today but just go to bed, read and watch rubbish on tv until it's time to take my meds, and I will but...

Grandmafrench ?. Welcome back Charleygirl ?

May I Marydoll or will I be in the doghouse?

LauraNorder Tue 13-Oct-20 19:37:48

Only ever cast orange nasturtiums and never count anyone’s units, let she who casts the first.,.,..,.and all that

Urmstongran Tue 13-Oct-20 19:31:49

Thought you were casting aspersions on my adding up of ‘units of alcohol’ there L&O
?
I was looking round for a hidden camera ...

LauraNorder Tue 13-Oct-20 19:15:15

Sorry Urms missed Annapops and Foxy’s posts, thought you were on the wrong thread. Obviously I haven’t had enough cava.

Urmstongran Tue 13-Oct-20 19:14:12

Oh LauraNorder! How did a give myself away?
I can walk in a straight line ...
?

Urmstongran Tue 13-Oct-20 19:12:31

Apologies! Thanet was damp this morning. (Must look Thanet up on Google - my geography is rubbish).

So just your estate agent valuation then.
?

LauraNorder Tue 13-Oct-20 19:10:40

How much cava have you had today Urms?

Urmstongran Tue 13-Oct-20 19:09:46

Welcome to you foxyrunning ?
Where are you posting from please? And your weather? Plus of course we do need to know the value of your house.

‘See you’ tomorrow!

Urmstongran Tue 13-Oct-20 19:05:58

totally agree with schools going back but then also feel staff are like "lambs to the slaughter". They do not have the same protection as in offices etc.

This is true Annapops - our daughter & her husband tested positive for COVID-19. Who ever knows where from, but as an Early Years Lead, Public Health & Union guidance for her was ‘no PPE to be worn to safeguard the mental health’ of the little people in the class. Fair enough.

But then she got coronavirus. As she said, not easy without a mask taking a littley to the toilet, in close proximity and being coughed on!

LauraNorder Tue 13-Oct-20 19:03:23

Gosh, is this the first ‘Good evening’ on Mick’s lovely thread. Welcome back Charleygirl, no idea what happened and don’t need to know but hope it’s onwards and upwards for the doghouse 4, hope all are back soon.

Kalu Tue 13-Oct-20 18:53:59

Hear, hear Grandmafrench what a sorry state of affairs GN has become. Years ago many of us sent a strong message to GNHQ to stop treating us like naughty children. Nothing has changed and we must obey the rules of Gilead, or so it appears.

Au contraire eazybee had those deleted posts been left and 4 members had not been suspended, many would have had the opportunity to make their own measured response.

I do hope there will be no continuation from you in spoiling Mick’s lovely thread which many of us look forward to as a gentle start to the day.

Charleygirl5 Tue 13-Oct-20 18:52:35

Thank you all for welcoming me back.

Marydoll Tue 13-Oct-20 18:44:49

I was just going to post the same Chewy.
eazybee, I refer you to the nasty, judgemental and totally inaccurate PM you sent me on the occasion of my daughter's garden, lockdown wedding.
It left me in tears.
To come on here and spoil Mick's gentle thread is unacceptable.
It may be worthwhile remembering there are always to sides to a coin.
You can always start your own thread about how you feel.

Chewbacca Tue 13-Oct-20 17:59:11

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone eazybee.

HAZBEEN Tue 13-Oct-20 17:45:23

Lets not spoil Micks lovely thread. Any comments like that easybee should be posted elsewhere.

Callistemon Tue 13-Oct-20 17:29:08

Unbelievable comment from you , eazybee, under the circumstances.

eazybee Tue 13-Oct-20 17:18:33

The people who wrote the posts that caused their suspension were not being 'lovely and supportive', despite having been members for a long time. If GN had left the posts online readers would be able to understand the reason for the suspensions.

Callistemon Tue 13-Oct-20 17:04:11

Urmstongran I loved your picture of the little ballet dancers.

DD sent it to me a while ago with the comment "This was me, Mum!" It's not actually her but could well have been ?

Callistemon Tue 13-Oct-20 16:59:05

I agree with your post Grandmafrench.

Hello Charleygirl welcome back from The Doghouse ??

And good afternoon to everyone too, better late than never.
But better never late.

Auntieflo Tue 13-Oct-20 16:40:40

I've just caught up, after being out all afternoon.
Charleygirl , welcome back.
I still don't know what all the fuss was about, but as Grandmafrench said, things have/ had deteriorated, and I to do not post my little musings, pointless or not, as often as I used to. It definitely has not been as 'user friendly* as before. I echo Hazbeens last comment.

Gingster Tue 13-Oct-20 15:20:05

What am I missing????????.

HAZBEEN Tue 13-Oct-20 14:56:13

I echo Grandmafrench! I havent posted for a couple of weeks because of the way things had been heading and now I will wait and see if things are going to improve. Welcome back *Charleygirl you (and the others) have been sorely missed!
Maybe we can get back to the lovely supportive forum GN used to be and not be treated like naughty school kids.
Stay safe everyone.
