What began as a damp and drizzly walk by the river today ended up with a patch of blue sky... always a bonus on a December day!

Ha ha lemongrove. You'd need a big pot of gold to buy a golden. Puppies now going for around £4,000 if you can even get one. Same with all breeds I believe.

I hadn’t made out the dog Elliane and although I do really like golden retrievers, at this moment a pot of gold would come in very handy.?

The fireplace is from Avebury, the lantern is ours and the view from yesterday’s short walk in a country park.

We have had our tree up for just over a week now and it certainly cheers up these gloomy afternoons. It's only small,but suits us and still feels festive.

A riot of colours is what is needed this year Greyduster. It looks wonderful!
