No, petra I wrote about exactly that some weeks ago and I know that the whole thing is just as you describe. But wouldn't you agree that bizarre doesn't even cover it, which is why so many GNetters have been motivated recently to say just what they think about all of this? Unfortunately there will always be the odd poster unfamiliar with how this works, who will be taken in, and this is why almost every thread like this always ends badly.
