know anyone been refused entry due to high temperture?

Well for the next 4 weeks it won’t matter because Gyms will be closed.

Anyone stupid enough to go to the Gym with a high temp. should be suspended.

A friend who was late due for an appt due to traffic and had had to run from the car park on a hot day, had her temperature taken outside a clinic, and was told to wait outside for a retake 20 mins later. (She had explained why she was hot).

Her temp was normal after 20 mins standing in the shade to cool down, and she was allowed in.

Nope but it frequently says I am cold enough to be dead.

Galaxy mine registered as 34C at the surgery when I went for the flu jab.
Before the receptionist fetched me a thermal blanket she decided the batteries in the thermometer needed changing.

We had a short break in a hotel in Devon in the Summer and the owner took our temperatures on arrival which were fine.

I asked her what would have happened if they had been raised and she said she would have asked us to come back in about half an hour to have them checked again.

How many times that theoretically could have gone on I didn’t ask!!

I was also reassured to learn that the staff have theirs taken every day when they turn up for work.

I feel so sorry for all businesses which will be affected by this latest lockdown when they have done everything they can to keep their premises safe.

I gather these temperature machines are very unreliable and the temperatures they register are more likely to be wrong than right. I would challenge anyone who said I had a high temperature. My normal temperature is quite low, around 97 degrees fahrenheit, rather than 98.4. I have to be very unwell to reach even 98.4, let alone any higher.

In April, my husband went to work. He had his temperature taken at the door. It was 38° so he was sent home, and told to isolate. He did, but didn't develop any Covid symptoms.
