Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Still dark but it's dry and not too cold.
I hope your day goes well Dragonfly now DH is home and stopped treatment, at least there's no driving/parking/ hospital protocol to worry about.
Visiting kiwi DS is bothered by all the ignoring of the covid rules he sees here. I have to be more careful.
DD is moving house today. In normal times we would be helping them.
Hoping everyone's day goes well.

Morning Mick and All.

A mix of light and darker blue sky here in South Bucks.

I agree Mick sport without the spectators is a little flat. They have started to dub the tennis with recorded applause which really doesn’t work as it is the same bit of applause each time.

Nothing particularly thrilling on the cards today. 3 more weeks and then hopefully we will be released again.

Here’s one from me ?
Good Morning everyone from Severnside. Am extra half hour sleep makes all the difference to my waking sky colour. Looks like we might see blue today.

I’ve nothing that desperately needs doing today so I think I’ll potter about the house and garden.

Good to hear news about EV and maybe see her later.
Have a good day all ?

Morning all. My bit of Leicestershire is a bit lighter and there is a little rain on the window.

This morning's job is to plan my butcher's order for Christmas. Goodness knows who is coming and when so I suppose I will have to order for all eventualities and hope there is room to store it all.

Sainsbury's delivery this pm.

Ashcombe my car can almost drive itself too. Mine can even keep you in the correct lane on the road. I love it but dh hates it.

Enjoy your days as much as possible everyone.

Good morning from Derbyshire. It's now dry after last nights rain and looks like being a brighter day.

Scentia my grandson was a very late talker too. You should hear him now, aged 5, he never stops!

Shopping this morning so I'll be off soon. Later I might make Marydolls Mars bar cake so I can take some for our DGS's after school.

Thinking of all with illness, worries and sadness to contend with flowers

Good morning. Quick pop in before alarm goes off to get DGSs up for school.
Will make the most of the weather today as looks like rain forecast for the coming few days. Have to stay in for parcel delivery first so hope that arrives early - my early Christmas present from DH.
Have a good day all GMs

Good morning from dark Leicestershire.

Early radiotherapy this morning, walk with a friend this afternoon and a Zoom quiz tonight.

Ellan is fine and we will hopefully hear from her later.
I wish we could hear from Gilly.

Work today and Thursday is my busiest day so better get moving
Have a good day everyonesmile

Good morning from a chilly but dry Torbay!

As always, I’ve appreciated the supportive comments from contributors regarding my hire car, following the shunt from behind on Sunday. Yesterday, I took it for a trial run which went fine, once I’d got to grips with its technical wizardry! Luckily, it recognised it was being driven by a slow witted technophobe so helpfully offered instructions about how to start the engine on the screen in front of me! Equally, I took a few minutes to fathom switching it off! Ah, press the Start/Stop button .... who knew?!

The drive went well although I found the steering woolly, the (automatic) gears inexact and the brakes fierce! It is fun to try out a different car, not least as it has made me realise what I love about my Fiesta Zetec Ecoboost, which is nippy, easy to park and holds the road well.

An Asda click and collect is on the timetable today so I’ve made sure I know how to open the boot, which looks spacious but then it’s not loaded with all the stuff normally present in my own car!

Wishing everyone as good a day as worries and ailments allow.

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire where it is still dark and feels mild.
Work day today. Had a morning out with DD and DGS at the priory yesterday. DD felt poorly do I sent her home and kept DGS for the rest of the day and she collected him in the evening. She does struggle with sickness during her pregnancies, I feel for her.
DGS was a delight and is such a well behaved little one, he is 18 months old now, he says just one word “Ta” and that is it! DD does worry so much but I have been told by you lot that she need not worry as he understands everything you say to him, he just has nothing to say just yet.
I am starting another project and building him a tower for the kitchen as they are hundreds of pounds online and I have the wood for £7 and a stool for £5 so I will post the results after the weekend.
I hope you are all coping with this strange time we are living in. I do hope EV is ok and just hope that I have missed a post from her. Still think about Gillybob
Take care everyone and stay safe. Don’t forget your smiles!

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but looks dry and cold outside .
Usual day some housework , wait for post , I did watch some cycling last late afternoon on Eurosport from Bulgaria euro track cycling apart from competitor's ,and team support no spectators gave it a very dull atmosphere , nationally team numbers appeared to be low as well .
Take Care ,
Mick
