Actually, I've always fancied making love to the "tune" of Nimrod, has a certain sort of ebb and flow towards the end, iykwim a few peaks.

Mine today isn't a tune, it is a poem - Robert Louis Stevenson's "From a Railway Carriage". It is quite musical. Yesterday I walked through the disused Colinton railway tunnel, where the poem has just been painted, with illustrations. Among the pics are crowd scenes of real people with local links, including Alexander McColl Smith, Stevenson himself, and Sherlock Holmes (OK, he wasn't real, but he is standing in for Conan Doyle)

Oh no, Nimrod had gone today to be replaced by 'It might as well rain until September'
Now Nimrod is back again, with Don't go Breaking my Heart pushing into the background.
