The more tenuous and obscure the better!
My aunty went out with the bloke who designed * both*
A) the Cadbury's Chocolate Orange packaging, and
B) Buzby, the British Telecom mascot

We were once on the same flight to Orlando as Sir Jackie Stewart. We were right behind him on the long trek out of the airport. He isn’t very tall.

Fanny Cornforth. I think I need a bit of praise for watching the lovely Honor Blackman buy a bottle of Paracetamol tablets. I bet not many people have actually watched a celebrity purchase pain relief pills. ?

Credit where credit is due fiorentina
Did you sniff her? I would have found it very difficult not to.

My husband was on the same ship that some of the crew members bumped into Ronnie Biggs ashore in Rio. He was invited back onboard for a few cans. (That was frowned upon by the top brass and they were told that if they came across Lord Lucan they were under no circumstances to invite him back).

I taught a mass murderer. He did all the little messages for me and sat at the front in class.

I'd say that's more than a tenuous link!

I was confirmed by Rowan Williams when he was Archbishop of Canterbury and so was my eldest daughter at the same time. He was a lovely man , very warm and sincere . Also extremely clever

My daughter was a nanny in London, worked for a woman who was a film producer.
When she came home one weekend, she was allowed to bring the BMW, there was a script on the back seat. She said it was for their next film.
It was ‘Notting Hill’.

When working for them, Harry Enfield came to their house. She answered the phone to Lenny Henry.

She also worked for one of the actresses from a tv coffee advert.

I have just remembered 2 more .

My husband bought a car from the very wealthy inventor of Fuzzy Felt .

My dad emptied Elton John’s dustbin and he was a very generous tipper at Christmas.

Many moons ago, when I worked in London, Mickie Most (record producer) came into my place of work and while waiting outside same place of work (in Mayfair), along walks David Niven, who spoke to a man standing near me, enquiring if he needed any help (he must of looked lost). Said man turned to me after and said 'what a nice man'.

I’ve just remembered I sat behind Peter O’Toole, his then wife Siân Phillips and their two small daughters at the cinema in the 1960s. It was a Royal Ballet film.

Oh I forgot - got on the same bus as David Attenburgh once. A wedge of money fell out of his pocket and I picked it up and gave it to him. He said thank you.

Lucca only just seen that you met Dali.
How did the conversation go? Was he friendly?

I was with a French family and actually we sent the youngest son to request the autograph . I saw Dali again a few months later as the car I was in with friends followed a black limo into the town of Cadaques (spelling?) and stopped the square. Out got Dali ! This was 1968.
