As usual, there will be a grand Christmas Ball , and the invitations have already been sent out to you all, on very expensive hand crafted cards with scalloped 22carat gold edging. To be held a few days before Christmas and the venue is Lemongrove Manor (in England, somewhere in the back of beyond). To those of you who have never attended before,
Say what you will be bringing and a line or two of chat ( or a much as you want to) although it’s alphabetical in nature (although we usually get very mixed up) this thread is a cross between a game and general chat.Dress beautifully please?

Foaming pints of Guinness to put hair on your chest. Not you Lemon you’ve got enough already.

Elf costumes, I think the male guests would look rather cute in them☺️

Christmas cake....to served at suppertime, made with my own fair hands and containing a generous scattering of silver sixpences ( and a few old bus tickets which accidentally fell in whilst Lord L was emptying his wallet when mixing up the currants and sultanas.) Apologies in advance if you choke.

But of course......you will notice on the map I sent you a X,
This isn’t a kiss, it’s where you turn right at the crossroads, keep on for about five miles, then turn left at the old oak tree
( there are yellow ribbons on it) keep going for two miles and turn left again when you see a long and winding road, follow this until you reach the village of Much Grumbling, and then take a right turn by the village stocks ( still in use) and that leads directly to Lemongrove Manor.
Happy cycling!?

All ready but don't know where to go? Map please, Lemon, -
I can't use a satnav on my push bike! (Bit of a delay because I can't find my bicycle clips and my frock is quite long. Think I'll have to tuck my frock in my knickers for the journey. Mind you I have my party knickers on and there is a lot of frock and not a lot of knicker. IYSWIM) blush
