I accept the invitation with pleasure and will be wearing a slinky black dress with a split to the thigh and short train, and vertiginous silver heels. My husband will be accompanying me (as George Clooney has a previous engagement, or so he said) he (my Dh not GC) will be wearing a kilt (he is Welsh but has always wanted to wear a kilt). He will very much be in a supporting role as I haven’t worn heels of that nature for about 30 years and am not too steady at the best of times. I do hope there are not too many stairs at Lemongrove Manor else a fall could reveal more than either of us would wish. Perhaps he could prop me up next to Puzzler.
