Hello everyone
I can't be the only one to notice that's it's a bit quiet and sad on here today.
Lots of people are struggling one way or another, myself included.

So let's big ourselves up. tchsmile

Tell me (and everyone else!) three things that you are exceptionally, or even just vaguely, good at.
I haven't given this much thought, honest, but I'll go first.
In fact, I can't even muster enough energy to do three straight away...
And in the spirit of 'good feedback' I'll add a rubbish one aswell

1.
2.
3. Drawing (but not painting)

Could do better: anything to do with direction or balance.

Hope you all have a good, peaceful evening x

Pantglas2.
1 Reading
2 personal finances
3 making cakes
I also can get lost anywhere. I wouldn't care go anywhere on my own in case I got lost. I was in the back of the queue when a sense of direction was given out. It's quite embarrassing really.

NanaNeets Thu 03-Dec-20 10:31:29

I meant ‘things’ putting things away, stupid, bl##dy phone

NanaNeets Thu 03-Dec-20 10:30:34

Oh I love this post, my 3 are:

1: swearing... I am sooo f###ing good at that ?

2: creating meals from nothing... made a ‘sausage surprise’ last night... chorizo, mushrooms, sweetcorn, mushroom soup,
garlic & herb roulade... and tuna fish (tinned) sounds disgusting but tasty nice ?

3: putting this away - I seem to be the only person who knows where everything goes!

GreyKnitter Thu 03-Dec-20 10:30:31

That’s got me thinking! I consider myself to be good at:
1. Knitting - but no expert
2. Planning things to do with the grandchildren even though I can’t see them right now and they probably don’t want o do those things anyway
3. Clearing up behind two very energetic 8 month old cats who are not allowed out following surgery.

I’m not very good at persuading my husband to put up the outside Christmas lights and now it’s raining. I also hate heights and being cold. ?

Bathsheba Thu 03-Dec-20 10:25:45

1. Talking. I do a lot of it...
2. Sewing (but not mending or altering, ugh!!)
3. Flower arranging

Terrible at housework, gardening, keeping in touch.

Im good at

1) cooking/feeding people
2) baking/ cake making
3) supporting others

I am also useless at picking men......

1. Languages
2. Listening to people
3. Organising

Could do better at: having the motivation to do the above!

Arry Thu 03-Dec-20 10:07:17

Reading, can loose myself in a good book for hours. Knitting
Creating clutter Absolute rubbish at drawing and singing

Moggycuddler Thu 03-Dec-20 10:04:27

I'm glad I'm not the only one with no sense of direction. If I go to the loo in a theatre etc, I have trouble finding my way back. It's a standing joke in our house that it's a wonder I can find my way to our own loo and back.
I think I'm good at spelling, cooking and keeping my temper.

TBsNana Thu 03-Dec-20 10:03:55

I think I might be good at:
1-sewing
2- design
3 - looking after my family

I am truly awful at:
1 - concentrating
2 -map reading (DH suggested that one - says I still need L and R painted on my wellies too!)
3 - did I say concentrating ........ ?
