Hello everyone
I can't be the only one to notice that's it's a bit quiet and sad on here today.
Lots of people are struggling one way or another, myself included.

So let's big ourselves up. tchsmile

Tell me (and everyone else!) three things that you are exceptionally, or even just vaguely, good at.
I haven't given this much thought, honest, but I'll go first.
In fact, I can't even muster enough energy to do three straight away...
And in the spirit of 'good feedback' I'll add a rubbish one aswell

1.
2.
3. Drawing (but not painting)

Could do better: anything to do with direction or balance.

Hope you all have a good, peaceful evening x

Totally off subject, sorry.
Pennylane4711 love your name, I had a tiny bottle of 4711 and I used to live near Penny Lane.

1. Worrying about things that usually never happen.

2. I'm calm in a crisis.

3. Smiling and nodding when I'm not really listening!

Really bad at small talk

Pennylane4711 Thu 03-Dec-20 09:58:49

1) Buying chocolate
2) Eating chocolate
3) Hiding chocolate

Chicklette Thu 03-Dec-20 09:55:06

Not so good at being gregarious!

TerryM Thu 03-Dec-20 09:54:34

1) reading
2) photos especially of people
3) shopping online

Like this ....reading the other ones made me realise some of my positives
Rubbish at making new friends .

Cuckooz Thu 03-Dec-20 09:45:41

Dreadful at recognising and naming photos-I’m the despair of the quiz team!

MamaCaz Thu 03-Dec-20 09:08:28

1. Crafts
2. Languages
3. Sense of direction

Bad at (and that's putting it mildly!) - recognising faces.

JackyB Thu 03-Dec-20 06:18:00

1. Giving advice but no following it myself.
2. Languages
3. Keeping in touch with old friends

I can't paint or draw for toffee. Used to hate it at school.

Greendress Thu 03-Dec-20 03:10:54

Redhead wine

CanadianGran Thu 03-Dec-20 03:03:05

1 drawing (also not good at painting)
2 good at my job, which involves organizing and multitasking
3 good at keeping calm in situations

Not very coordinated for dance or aerobics classes! I always am one step off, or going backwards instead of forwards.

LauraNorder Wed 02-Dec-20 22:52:03

Critical analysis, thought and argument.
Organising a good party.
Avoiding the kitchen.

grannyqueenie Wed 02-Dec-20 22:46:40

Procrastinating, seems I’m not alone, Gransnetters seem to share this skill!

I think I’m a good friend, but I guess you’d have to ask my friends to be sure about this!

I can take a half decent photo, sometimes!

Useless at counting
No sense of direction
Can be very indecisive

Grandma11 Wed 02-Dec-20 22:45:01

1. Needlework, sewing, knitting, mending!

2. Medical and Healthcare, Nursing.

3. Dare Devil Driving! Towing, Skippering, off Roading.

Nanna58 Wed 02-Dec-20 22:13:03

Can I put the three things my 5yr old DGS said when he was asked what he was good at for the form at school re his ASD special needs assessment form, they made me laugh
1: I’m quite good at helping people.
2: I’m good at picking up rocks, even spherical ones!
3: I can eat broccoli with cheese , even though it belongs in the bin! Lord I love that boy!!\

honeyrose Wed 02-Dec-20 21:49:46

I’d say I’m good at :
Listening
Knitting and sewing
Grandmothering (I’d like to think so anyway!)

Like several of you, also “good” at procrastinating! It drives me mad! I’m retired and I thought I’d actually get through a never-ending to-do list. Not so. Even after lockdown, the to-do list keeps getting added to - grrrrrr!

Marmight Wed 02-Dec-20 21:41:16

Talking - a lot
Crying - I seem to be excelling at that recently
Painting - i just enjoy it but not very good
