Good Morning everyone! Sunny, blue but a bit chilly here in ??.
Feeling lots better and The Gloom’s have lifted so will celebrate with a day in the kitchen....steam cleaning all the surfaces, washing windows (because the sunbeams are putting me to shame) and then looking forward to roast lamb for supper. I know it’s Sunday but I have to strike when my positivity is back.
Went for a lovely walk yesterday and on our homeward run met a new neighbour and then was able to introduce him to another. He’s so excited to move here from Picardy and for his Wife, who suffers badly with Arthritis, it will be so beneficial, he said. Health then happiness, he said. Nothing more important in life. And so say all of us, I think.
This brings me smartly to Mick. Hope you can see what everyone here thinks, Mick. There could be a dozen reasons for your symptoms....anything from low blood pressure, anaemia, anxiety, to heart problems. But until you are examined you’ll just be guessing and seriously at risk of falling and sustaining an injury which might put you out of action for months! Sorry, but a paracetamol is only a comfort thing until you get a diagnosis. So please, please tomorrow tell us that you will make an appointment and tell your GP the truth about how you feel. As soon as you get medical advice, you’ll stop worrying and get your life back. OK ?
Missed your birthday, Pants. Sounds as if it was a good one with, hopefully, chamber pots of fizz ?to mark the day. Lovely news for your family Scentia. One of each. So pleased to hear little Iris is safely home, Mattie. Hard work ahead but you know she’ll get there. She just needs to hope that Knicker Queen Productions stays in business! ! Have yourselves a better day, Cherry and Mary. Keep on making us laugh with Tales from Ellan Towers, Ellan. You really have got life sussed!
Please get lots of rest if you still have that pain, Sar. Fingers crossed that the horsey outing allays some fears for your DD, Beau. I so love horses but they’re smart enough to spot an idiot in me. I’ll feed them and groom them, walk them and happily poo pick, but once astride one I’m no leader. So they do just what they like and I always come off worse! Came off....since I’m too old to ride now and since ‘came off’ should have been my middle name, at times I was tempted to take up something less hair-raising: wing walking, parachute jumping, white water rafting, swimming with sharks - you know, that sort of thing?! ? With me, they have NO brakes. That’s all I can say!
Sending thanks to all those who checked up on me. It has been said lots of times what a wonderful thread this is, but I’m saying it again. You’re all pulling together and supporting each other and just cracking on with life...however hard. And it shows. I couldn’t wish to be amongst a lovelier bunch of people. ?
Wishing everyone a really good day. As ever - from across la Manche and Downalot - hugs.
