Thought I've give my (very) shallow side an airing on this wet and gloomy Sunday.

Some guys I didnt think had it when they were younger though now think they do :
Sean Bean
Keanu Reeves
Jon Bon Jovi
Matthew McConaughey
Jerome Flynn
Iain Glen

Some guys who've always had it - and still have :
Antonia Banderas
Brad Pitt
John Malcovich
Viggo Mortensen
Daniel Day Lewis
Charles Dance

A honorary couple under 50
Tom Hardy
Andy Whitfield - lead in Spartacus, so very sadly died young

Ho Lee Cow......

Think I'll soon be reverting to my 1970's past time of putting posters up in my bedroom.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes Nicholas Cage GrannyGravy13. Family and friends don’t get it. I also like Mark Rylance and Mark Strong.

Yiayia4 Sun 13-Dec-20 22:31:45

Liam Neeson for me and I’m not sharing!

Hugh Quarshie ,his smile lights up the room.Or Shug as my OH calls him.If he appears on screen OH yells through, theres Shug on the TV .I'm not normally someone who eyes up men but he is beautiful

He’s 4 years short of 50 but I really like the chef/presenter Matt Tebutt on Saturday Kitchen Live.

Handsome man, witty, nice personality. And he can cook dinner! What’s not to like?

Ex Newcastle footballer David Ginola still ‘has it’ for me. His middle name is Desire which says it all!

Yup

NiceasMice Sun 13-Dec-20 22:53:13

Bill Nighy
Yes, no idea why.
He is sooo louch. grin

Lucca Sun 13-Dec-20 22:54:05

I always had a notion for tom Conti.

Llamedos13 Sun 13-Dec-20 23:42:18

Daniel Craig,aka James Bond, he’s a hunk.

Paul Hollywood anyone? No-one has mentioned him. The epitome of a silver fox. Those eyes! Good looking, but he knows it! I actually prefer men who don’t seem to realise that they are attractive, but PH is gorgeous (quite arrogant though). I even like his bread rolls which I buy from Sainsbury’s!

Chestnut Sun 13-Dec-20 23:56:27

I'm claiming Richard Gere and also Sam Neill. My ultra-favourites are all dead. I was just watching an in-depth programme on Steve McQueen tonight, long gone I'm afraid.

Chestnut Sun 13-Dec-20 23:59:04

None can compare to the handsome Paul Newman, probably the best looking man who ever lived.

Tom Conti has the sexiest of voices, he said my name once, he was sexy then and still is.
I love a good voice so I second Rufus Sewell and add Roger Allam.

GardenerGran Mon 14-Dec-20 00:33:17

Monty Don and Adam Frost. Naturally!

grannydarkhair Mon 14-Dec-20 02:55:33

Jason Isaacs and Ray Stevenson would be at the top of my list. What a sandwich that would be!

Marmight Mon 14-Dec-20 03:48:33

Bill Nighy, Timothy Dalton, Hugh Bonneville, Charles Dance, Jeremy Irons, Sean Bean. .......and the late lamented Alan Rickman
(Calendar Tom Burke is 39 ? I went to school with his Mum!)

He’s undoubtedly attractive but not everyone will find him fanciable. Sometimes people are so good looking it renders them unsexy (in my eyes anyway!). David Beckham, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise when they were in their prime are a few examples. Each to their own!

GagaJo Mon 14-Dec-20 07:22:09

Not that small a minority. I've never understood the Clooney hype either.

Oooo Denzel. I've ALWAYS fancied him.
Patrick Stewart about 10 years ago although gone to seed a bit now.
Jeremy Corbyn now, although definitely NOT when he was younger (daughter and younger friends agree with me.)

Oldwoman70 Mon 14-Dec-20 07:26:04

Sam Elliott
Jason Statham
Keanu Reeves
Jamie Foxx
Hugh Jackman

and not there yet but Ryan Reynolds - gets better with every year!

Dwmxwg Mon 14-Dec-20 07:30:01

Monty Don and Kevin McCloud for me

Retiredwell Mon 14-Dec-20 08:09:53

For me,
Rod Stewart.
Cliff Richard.
Both have aged in the same way as we all do, but, there clarity of mind and continued sense of living and maintaining themselves and their careers I find great and a wonderfull example to us all.

silverlining48 Mon 14-Dec-20 09:05:26

If this was reversed and men were listing attractive women, I wonder what the response would be. Just saying,

Sparklefizz Mon 14-Dec-20 09:14:13

You're right, silverlining

Mrst1405 Mon 14-Dec-20 09:17:49

Has to be Mick Jagger! I definitely would and he's nearly 98.

Chestnut Mon 14-Dec-20 09:38:24

No-one has mentioned the beautiful Terence Stamp....so I will!
