It looks as if her head was shaved for an operation, or that maybe she is suffering from hair loss.

A friend of mine has indeed had half her head shaved for an operation on a brain tumour. Is she supposed to hide away until it’s regrown in case people think it’s just a horrible fashion?

I love it - the half shaved look is very in among young people at the moment. It’s dramatic, but fun. And it’s only hair, it always grows back!

To be fair, the twins always look immaculately turned out, true to Monégasque tradition.

It’s what’s called a side-shave - looks like it’s probably quite easy to cover up, so best of both worlds!
