Impressive supermarket delivery

WOODMOUSE49 I use Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Asda, usually Tesco, they all have a no substitutes option, it depends who has a convenient slot. All have been unfailingly timely, polite and cheerful and I’m very grateful. As a Prime user, it’s useful to know about their offering. Iceland usually have next day slots too and they supply a lot more than frozen food. I’ve been having click and collect or delivery for nearly 3 years now, but use local butcher and farm shop too.

I have Amazon Prime but I can’t get a Morrison’s delivery, as they say I’m not in the area, (I regularly have Morrison’s deliveries) so check before you sign up just in case they still can’t do it for you .

Just checked how much the app costs: You need to have Amazon Prime which is £79 a year or £7.99 a month, if you'd prefer.

That OK if you want to make use of Amazon Prime but not everyone does - me for one. I cancelled mine after first year.

I'm getting a regular weekly shop delivered from Sainsbury's. I never accept substitutes and the last order was complete.

There's never any guarantee that all you order from any supermarket is going to be in stock. I like Sainsbury's as they let you have the option to select no substitutes on individual items.

Slots on Sainsbury's are really easy now. For past few months I've booked next week's slot on the day my previous order arrives.

I have used it as well and agree it’s great! slots seem pretty easy to get as well perhaps will get more booked up as more use it ? They sell the wood silk and leather silk I like so happy days !

Impossible to get a Tesco slot. Is Morrisons any easier?

Oopsadaisy my apologies- I am getting confused. It is only a Morrisons driver who brings my groceries.

I also occasionally shop at M&S and it is an Ocado driver who delivers that.

phoenix - as an Amazon Prime member, my husband talks of Amazon Fresh then places the order if that’s any help.

Used three times now, I find this a highly efficient service as our orders were delivered within three hours. Lots of delivery slots were available too. In addition to Morrison’s, there are products from Booths.
If you scroll down the page past your order there can be free items you’re entitled to. Quite by chance DS pointed this out to us (we’d missed them twice); they weren’t there when we placed the third order!

Charleygirl I wonder if there is a link between Morrison’s and Ocado? Ours also share a warehouse a few miles from me, but so far I’ve only had Morrisons drivers, very polite too.

Ocado/M&S are also superb- I only drink M&S coffee, I needed to stock up and of course my eyes were drawn towards the food so I bought a few items. There were few days between ordering and delivery- the only downside was it arrived around 9.30 pm on a Saturday night but no substitutions.

I have plenty of food etc so I did not need an early date for Morrisons but I managed to get one in two weeks time which suited me. My Morrison's food comes from a warehouse locally shared with Ocado and it is an Ocado driver who brings the goodies.

We are having regular Morrison’s deliveries, but strangely I’m unable to get them via Amazon, they say ‘not in your area’.
There are still 2 slots available for tomorrow, and I’m pleased that so far they have been brilliant.

What super service Grannynannywanny, and ideal when you’re unable to get to the shops. I’ll look into it, as I’m not comfortable visiting the supermarket at the moment - we’re in Tier 4 and the numbers are rising in this area.
