Good Morning all from a cold and frosty Severnside.

I’ve just been to the store for fresh milk and a few bits.
We went up a tier at midnight.

A few little jobs to do today and do a mini roast for later and that’s about my lot.

There are a lot of worries and wobbles so I am thinking of you all as we move out of this year ?

Good morning Mick and All.

Another very cold day here in South Bucks but none of the white stuff.

Just another quiet night in, but we do have duck in a plum sauce, followed by a roulade with raspberries and some brandy cream.

Thanks folks for your company this past difficult year. It’s good to have a safe haven to share the highs and lows of our lives. ???

Good morning from Morecambe Bay. As I looked out of the window I was greeted with a heavy frost illuminated with a full silver moon. Snow started to gently fall.....
Unfortunately we have an early click and collect!
When we are home and everything is disinfected and put away we will investigate our present from DS3. An Apple TV
Subscription. Not got a clue what to do with it!
Take care everyone, stay safe ?

Good morning from the NE where we we still have snow and a very large bright moon .
Yesterday was a day of inactivity, pain and nausea for both of us. We gave up on dinner and had soup and a bun.
DH decided to set up his new phone, I have to admire his ablilty to transfer all the data. I would be calling in an expert, teenage GD.
What a strange New Year's eve this will be and like others I will be glad to see the back of this year.

Good morning everyone from a cold and snowy white Inverness.
Yesterday I had such a lovely afternoon, we met DD and DGC for a walk in the local woods. DGD was soon a bit cold and getting tired so she went home but 7 year old DGS wanted to carry on, so helped by a few biscuits as we walked we completed the circular trail of about 6 miles together ?
A quiet day and evening for us today, I too will be pleased to see the end of 2020 and am looking forward to a much better 2021. Thinking especially of everyone with worries and struggles, I hope things get a bit easier and wish everyone a Happy New Year ❤️

A late (for me) good morning from clear icy E Kent.
You “gyrating”incomes sound interesting Ash, we were told not to -throng- at the beginning of the first lockdown. Being only a very small town, it would have been fun at any time...
Overslept this morning, full of peculiar dreams.
I’m very envious of your nail clipping, Mick, mine cancelled as her car wasn’t working and no appointment forthcoming.
Spending today doing all the turkey stuffing preparations etc., for my darling DS2’s visit tomorrow. We’re having the full Monty all over again. The things I do for those I love. He’s been isolating so as to visit us. We haven’t seen him for so long, even though he lives in Tier 4 like us, and only 30 minutes away.
If you are celebrating tonight, enjoy yourselves, especially you Marydoll, you deserve some nice things to happen to you.
Have. Calm day, everyone in pain, sad, or just plain cheesed off. Stay safe. X

Good morning to Mick & co., from a cold and very frosty Torbay!

Despite relatively low nos. of cases, we are now in Tier 3. According to our esteemed MP, this is because......

“.......Sadly the evidence from other regions is areas with lower infection rates which stay out of a higher band, whilst their largest near neighbours go into it, quickly follow them as people and activities gyrate towards them, even when specifically asked not to. This includes Cornwall and Herefordshire where people travelled from some distance to take advantage of the Tier 1 rules there, even though this wasbarred.”

I shall be on the lookout ? for those gyrating incomers!

Seriously, I think a total lockdown is needed for a couple of weeks, at least, but what do I know?!

Have a good day and (it must be) a better New Year for us all! ???

Good morning Mick and everyone on this last day of the year from Hell.

Weather in Malta is fine, yesterday was really warm in the sun. I went for a walk with a friend but there were too many people about so I felt a bit anxious.

Hairdresser this morning then I must tackle the ironing. I’ve done a lot of laundry, changed the beds etc, so that will keep me busy for a while.

Wishing you all the best day possible and let’s hope the New Year brings better things for all.☀️

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire where it is still dark and feels cold.
Today I am off for a walk with DD and DGS, we will get lunch at the takeaway cafe on the trails, I assume it will still be open.
So we are nearly all in tier 4 and we have a new vaccine and by 11pm we will be separate from the EU. What a year 2020 has been, I for one will not be sorry to see the back of it tonight and have hopes that by spring we will start to see an element of normality. However, not sure our business will be normal now we are not in the EU it is an uncertain time for everyone.
I am offering my thoughts to all with heavy hearts snd leave you with my smile ???
