What 2021 Wall Calendar did you buy?

We have this one every year, a wall planner, with a gorgeous photo each month.

My stepfather’s house is in Plockton (been in the family for just over a hundred years and he’s in the process of selling it to his second cousin). This year his house is there on the front cover. A beautiful village - we all hope to visit again next year!

I love Plockton, Urmstongran, but haven't managed to visit for a few years .......................... maybe when Scotland is open to all again .

Haven't bought a calendar for years. Use technology for recording events and reminders.

Yesterday I ordered a European one for the kitchen, and a British desk top one, with different places for every day of the year. It's nice to be able to look at different places as I'm unable to go anywhere at the moment.

Like lots on here, I use by Gmail Calendar - and have it linked to my phone, so I can keep track when away from my PC. Very useful for when making arrangements.

However, I DO like a picture calendar for the living room. This year, I've bought one from the Fan Club of my favourite band.

Any Scots among us - and perhaps a few others - will know of Runrig (especially Riggie ). They may have retired, but I can look at them every day this year .

My son sends me one with photos of my great grandchildren.
As I have been unable to see them for the past three years it is much appreciated.

I like to have a calendar in the kitchen, and always buy a couples calendar. It has a pocket each month which is very useful for hospital letters/appointments, cards, notes etc. It also has four columns to write in - hers, his, both of us, birthdays. I’d be lost without it. Husband had a lovely Countryfile calendar for Christmas.

I exchange calendars with my best friend in Scotland she always sends me one with wonderful pictures of Scotlands castles I send her one of all the local places in Liverpool & the Waterfront.

Very vain I know, but I have a Bristol Biking Girls Calendar - because I am in one of the pictures in it! I did pay for it, it was produced for a local cancer support charity, and in total raised £7,000 for the charity.
I also use the calendar facility on my phone, as it sends reminders, and recurring things like birthdays are repeated each year without me having to put them in.

We have had lovely photo calendars of the grandchildren (xmas present),also sent my 96yr old mil,a countryside calendar,as she loves the programme

A Cliff Richard strip calendar for the kitchen! I don't really care what calendar we have as long as it's a strip that I can write reminders and appointments on. But DH likes Cliff, so we sometimes get a Cliff one. Or a cat one or a birds one.

The only ones I buy are sent to Blighty where our summer scenes in Dec/Jan of golden beaches, not to mention flora and fauna are always welcomed.
On the other hand the ones we receive at Christmas invariably depict snowdrifts on moors or pretty hoar frost hanging off trees.
Kind of makes me homesick.

I have a Jolie business diary every year and I also use the calendar on my phone for alerts. I have had one from the firemen (pompiers) and the Postman this year too, where you are expected to make a donation in exchange. Usually, there are also calendars from the village dance troop and the Boxing Club, but not this year. Can work out expensive, but don't want them to think that the only Brits in the village are mean/stingy

I always use a calendar, (& a diary),
I sent for the "free"(£1;99pp) one of "Kate's Cuties" from the DM....., thinking that would be our only one.
Then we were lucky to receive a photo one of our own DGC, from our DD. also, very welcome, was one from our DS of all things about the moon & it's phases.
so we are well supplied with calendars.
I did buy my diary from the RNLI.
( my phone (& me) is too ancient to do the job for me.!!

I bought one with scenes of 'Beautiful Britain' since I don't know when I can go and see them myself.
Haven't got much written on it except birthdays and paydays! Just U3A and WI zoom committee meetings, history and science lectures.

My grandson gave me an Elvis one in 2017. I sometimes change the picture. I am not getting rid of it as it has sentimental value and also every 5 years or so the dates are the same.

Country file as I do every ear.

A friend sends one from Australia every year. Such a good reminder of places I’ve seen and still need to see. I like to write things on there, but mostly I rely on my phone now.

My daughter always buys me one for my Christmas Day ‘table’ present. This year my grandson bought it for me ‘Nana’s calendar’.

Let’s hope there won’t be so many crossings-out this year!

I always buy Lakeland calendar for couples as it has handy pockets for each month to keep hospital letters etc safe and tidy. It’s half price at the moment.
