I've received a few messages asking to continue the 1000 words thread. It has obviously given many people pleasure and some positivity. For anyone who doesn't know, posters come on with their photographs of pretty much anything and we take it from there. Nature is always a good one.
Me too Bellanonna Anyone else see a face in greyduster’s log? All these signs of spring, bring it on”. This little dried flower posy made me smile last weekend, especially as it was accompanied by a mini bottle of Prosecco and some nice chocs!
Er, no!!. This reminds me of my best friend who said she could see an image of her late husband in her downstairs cloakroom floor tiles. I couldn’t for ages and then I did and it freaked me out!
Hope you don’t get gertivo, as my late brother in law used to call it, Ellianne! A photo for the first day of Spring from me. I’m asking God not to let the pond dry up like it did last year☹️!
Ellianne it’s not my pond. It’s one that was established in a small park on our estate. It’s quite a large pond but they dug it out so shallow (elf an safety) that a spell of dry weather will dry it up in no time! Unfortunately the frogs don’t know that! It’s what happened last year and the tadpoles died.
Saw this on my walk yesterday, it just says “fragile” to me and matched my mood as I reflected over the past year. Much loss and sadness for so many, life is fragile and it looks now like the way out of lockdown is pretty fragile too. ❤️
