I've received a few messages asking to continue the 1000 words thread. It has obviously given many people pleasure and some positivity. For anyone who doesn't know, posters come on with their photographs of pretty much anything and we take it from there. Nature is always a good one.

I took this today. Is Spring really here?!

Greyduster Mon 29-Mar-21 17:08:12

Sorry forgot photo!

These daffs were battered and bent by the wind outside so I cut them and put them in mother’s jug to try and have them a little longer.

A chance to sail way and explore.

I think this is amazing - carved with a chainsaw.

The bunny is only 12 weeks old. He's adorable isn't he.

grannyqueenie Wed 24-Mar-21 17:30:06

Love that rabbit!

grannyqueenie Wed 24-Mar-21 17:28:42

Oops, maybe I forgot to add it!

Ellianne Wed 24-Mar-21 16:09:14

That's an amazing photo! The pose is caught brilliantly with his little nose in the air!

Aldom Wed 24-Mar-21 16:04:31

Aldom Wed 24-Mar-21 14:38:09

My granddaughter's rabbit.

Ellianne Wed 24-Mar-21 14:23:39

Are some of the photos not posting? We'd like to see the rabbit and grannyqueenie's picture?

Aldom Wed 24-Mar-21 14:18:49

My granddaughter's rabbit.

Ellianne Wed 24-Mar-21 13:23:07

The beavers have been busy gnawing the trees by the river. I hope you can see their teeth marks. They have snapped the trunks off.

Saw this on my walk yesterday, it just says “fragile” to me and matched my mood as I reflected over the past year. Much loss and sadness for so many, life is fragile and it looks now like the way out of lockdown is pretty fragile too. ❤️

It must be Springtime, the garden lamps have come out of the shed.?

The first small bouquet from the garden this Spring.

Ellianne Tue 23-Mar-21 12:30:37

A moment of reflection in more ways than one today.

Greyduster Mon 22-Mar-21 22:57:41

Ellianne it’s not my pond. It’s one that was established in a small park on our estate. It’s quite a large pond but they dug it out so shallow (elf an safety) that a spell of dry weather will dry it up in no time! Unfortunately the frogs don’t know that! It’s what happened last year and the tadpoles died.

Ellianne Sat 20-Mar-21 15:04:27

What do you do with all the tadpoles Greyduster? I remember them in jars at school.
