This plant is an awful thug but the bees love it so much I don’t have the heart to pull it out!

Is that Sea Holly Greyduster. I like it because it’s blue flowers of which I am fond of.

It’s sea holly eryngium planum, yes, Beechnut, but not the eryngium alpinum which has bigger, much more arresting flowers. We’ve had a little cull and now it knows it’s place!

At Castle Kennedy Gardens I saw this tree. Anyone remember The Addams Family, Cousin Itt.

Well, isn't that funny. A couple of days ago I couldn't get this thread on the active list. Lo and behold it worked today.

I think we can keep going to 1000 posts MiniMoon, before we need a new thread. It will be good to see some autumn colour photos soon, not that we want to wish September away.

Cobweb season. It amazes me how quickly they appear. Love them - as long as they stay outside .
