I've received a few messages asking to continue the 1000 words thread. It has obviously given many people pleasure and some positivity. For anyone who doesn't know, posters come on with their photographs of pretty much anything and we take it from there. Nature is always a good one.

Bridge across the Tyne at Hexham. I went for a walk on a beautiful August evening while granddaughter was kayaking.

And still these photos show the beauty all around us. A reminder that the seasons will always come and go as life goes on.
Thank you.

Spotted on a woodland walk yesterday. From a distance and en masse these fungi looked like cauliflower heads. On closer inspection they were so delicate.

'Inch worm, inch worm measuring the Marigold, seems to me you stop and see, how beautiful they are'.

Swanage where we were last week.

NannyJan53 Sun 19-Sept-21 13:29:42

Photos didn’t

Hellogirl1 Sun 19-Sept-21 14:03:38

Haven`t been to Swanage for many years, loved it there. Lovely pics.

grannyqueenie Sun 19-Sept-21 23:04:27

Have had a few nice breaks in Swanage, lovely!
Couldn’t resist a quick coffee stop in Alnmouth on our way back from Scotland yesterday. Seeing the sea is always a treat, even if only briefly on an overcast afternoon!

Line up, line up on a lovely morning with warm sunshine on their backs.

hollysteers Mon 20-Sept-21 11:49:00

One of my drawings.

Esspee Mon 20-Sept-21 13:11:32

We've just seen a white deer but it ran off before we got near enough to get a pic (bloody jetskiers) so you'll have to make do with my pic of my view yesterday whilst lying back on my patio enjoying the sun. (The toes are mine.)smile

Esspee Mon 20-Sept-21 14:22:41

Aldom

Here's the photo! smile

Love the purple geranium (cranesbill) Aldom. Do you know the variety? Apart from Rozane all my geraniums are mostly over. Could do with that splash of colour in the autumn.

Josianne Mon 20-Sept-21 14:31:11

And the day just gets better ....reverting back to summer here.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Mon 20-Sept-21 15:36:28

I think this might be my last rose this summer.

Aldom Tue 21-Sept-21 16:40:04

Esspee In my garden photo the plant that you thought is Cranesbill is actually Calibrachoa. Quite similar.
