I've received a few messages asking to continue the 1000 words thread. It has obviously given many people pleasure and some positivity. For anyone who doesn't know, posters come on with their photographs of pretty much anything and we take it from there. Nature is always a good one.

Just saw this lovely thread so here are a couple of flower pictures - one a bunch OH gave me a while ago and the other I tried to replicate and it doesn't look too bad I thought.

I will take some in the garden soon and post.

Love all your photos they are very nice.

Testing to see if the thread appears in the Active List

This is a photo of my auntie’s new puppy with her older dog. They are not related, and totally different breeds!

Aldom Wed 22-Sept-21 10:53:53

Precious love rose. Planted in memory of my son.

But it is now top of the list in the chat forum

JackyB Wed 22-Sept-21 09:29:03

Nope. It's still not there.

JackyB Wed 22-Sept-21 09:28:21

When I go into a church I take pictures of the flowers which are usually nicely done. The statues, murals and furnishings are permanent but the flowers are transient. These aren't particularly striking but I am trying help this thread find its rightful place in the Active list.

Josianne Wed 22-Sept-21 09:11:26

Just testing with a photo from yesterday to see why pictures on this thread aren't always appearing at the top of the active board when posted.

Esspee In my garden photo the plant that you thought is Cranesbill is actually Calibrachoa. Quite similar.

I think this might be my last rose this summer.

Josianne Mon 20-Sept-21 14:31:11

And the day just gets better ....reverting back to summer here.

Esspee Mon 20-Sept-21 14:22:41

Aldom

Here's the photo! smile

Love the purple geranium (cranesbill) Aldom. Do you know the variety? Apart from Rozane all my geraniums are mostly over. Could do with that splash of colour in the autumn.

We've just seen a white deer but it ran off before we got near enough to get a pic (bloody jetskiers) so you'll have to make do with my pic of my view yesterday whilst lying back on my patio enjoying the sun. (The toes are mine.)smile

Have had a few nice breaks in Swanage, lovely!
Couldn’t resist a quick coffee stop in Alnmouth on our way back from Scotland yesterday. Seeing the sea is always a treat, even if only briefly on an overcast afternoon!

Hellogirl1 Sun 19-Sept-21 14:03:38

Haven`t been to Swanage for many years, loved it there. Lovely pics.

NannyJan53 Sun 19-Sept-21 13:29:42
