Hello Everyone! smile

Thank you for joining in with the last ATPBYAQ flowers

Welcome to a new Lockdown Special - ask the person below you a question!

Questions can be related to 'the current climate' or, if you are heartily sick to death of all that, can be to do with anything at all.

Q: What is your favourite thing about lockdown?

nadateturbe Sat 23-Jan-21 05:16:27

Favourite type of entertainment?

I love choir concerts. My favourite cd is Les Choristes en Concert a Paris, even though I don't understand a lot of it.

What do you like best about where you live?

FannyCornforth Sat 23-Jan-21 05:35:17

My back garden backs onto a field which has woodland behind it. It's a really beautiful view. We have cows in it in the Summer.
You'd never know it was there from looking at the front of the house.

Do you have a favourite piece of jewellery?

nanna8 Sat 23-Jan-21 07:49:55

A pair of gold earrings my darling late Dad bought me

How long have you lived in your current house ?

FannyCornforth Sat 23-Jan-21 08:13:13

21 years, and five weeks smile

What did you wear the last time that you went to a wedding?

Billybob4491 Sat 23-Jan-21 09:01:43

A cerise suit, very smart, complete with a daft hat.

What has been your biggest regret in life?

Arsenal67 Sat 23-Jan-21 09:18:36

Not dumping my abusive first boyfriend a lot sooner. Took 7 years to get away from him.

Who is your celebrity crush?

Casdon Sat 23-Jan-21 11:00:39

Can’t pick just one: Alan Davies, Robson Green

Who is your favourite newsreader?

BBbevan Sat 23-Jan-21 11:04:51

Simon McCoy. He always laughs

Who is your least favourite news reader ?

muse Sat 23-Jan-21 11:27:37

Timed this one wrong. Can't say I have one as I don 't watch much news to be able to make an opinion - I read news briefly in the mornings and more at length at night.

A day trip somewhere - where would it be?

Puzzler61 Sat 23-Jan-21 12:31:10

Stratford upon Avon, home of the Bard and a beautiful riverside town.

Which season of the year is your favourite?

Kim19 Sat 23-Jan-21 13:08:55

Spring, without reservation. Time of hope, opportunity, promise and newness of all things outdoors.

Where will your first 'formal' holiday be to once we are 'released'?

GrandmaTrisha Sat 23-Jan-21 13:14:02

Barbados for the third attempt at getting there.

Q: What’s your favourite musical theatre production?

Smileless2012 Sat 23-Jan-21 13:14:24

We have a cabin booked with friends to celebrate my 60th in May, providing we get 'released' in time.

Which is the one household appliance you couldn't be without?

Smileless2012 Sat 23-Jan-21 13:15:30

Oops crossed posts GrandmaTrisha

A Chorus Line

Same question about the household appliance you couldn't be without.

MissAdventure Sat 23-Jan-21 16:44:42

Washing machine.

Have you ever had an inappropriate crush on someone?

Puzzler61 Sat 23-Jan-21 18:00:37

My family GP. He was like Nigel Havers and all the ladies wanted to see him.

Q. What is your favourite face covering/ mask like?
(mine is black with pink hearts on)

FannyCornforth Sat 23-Jan-21 18:56:39

I don't have one because I never go out. If I really have to use them, I use the boring blue ones.

Do you have a faith?

hollysteers Sat 23-Jan-21 19:25:13

Catholic, I know it’s not perfect, but it’s the closest to an ideal for me. I can see the goodness in other faiths too.

Were you closest to your mother or father?

nadateturbe Sat 23-Jan-21 19:39:04

My mother definitely. I was the clingy child - there were seven of us. I still miss her so much. I didn't really know my dad. He went out drinking every night.

What book and song would you take to a desert island, and what would your luxury item be?

hollysteers Sun 24-Jan-21 16:37:55

I would take The Song of the Lark by Willa Cather and The Very Thought of You, Cole Porter.

My luxury item would be a cashmere blanket.

hollysteers Sun 24-Jan-21 16:39:05

Forgot my question!

Have you any foreign blood in your family?

FannyCornforth Sun 24-Jan-21 16:49:42

No. I think that we are a very Anglo Saxon lot. I'd love to be proved otherwise!

What is the snow situation where you are, and what's for tea (dinner for soft Southerners smile)?

FannyCornforth Sun 24-Jan-21 16:50:34

Holly I adore Cole Porter

Billybob4491 Sun 24-Jan-21 16:59:14

The snow situation here is dire, and dinner (yes I am a soft Southerner is chicken.

Have you ever lost your temper in public?

muse Sun 24-Jan-21 17:04:36

No but in my head I'm shouting

Flats or heels?
