Hello Everyone! smile

Thank you for joining in with the last ATPBYAQ flowers

Welcome to a new Lockdown Special - ask the person below you a question!

Questions can be related to 'the current climate' or, if you are heartily sick to death of all that, can be to do with anything at all.

Q: What is your favourite thing about lockdown?

lolarabbit Wed 06-Jan-21 11:00:56

Have re-engaged with some old school friends (from 40+ years ago!) on Zoom. Also used for family games and for meetings linked to volunteering. Very useful.

What film/series would you recommend that's availble to watch/stream now?

Oopsadaisy1 Wed 06-Jan-21 11:04:51

DH is watching ‘Wild Thing ‘ on Netflix, a comedy with Bill Nighy and Emily blunt , lots of well known faces, seems quite amusing!

Question, why is my Gladioli in bloom (almost) when I didn’t plant one, ever.

Neilspurgeon0 Wed 06-Jan-21 11:07:26

Why is my gladioli in bloom,

Ask old Barry Humpries, personally I find gardening truly boring, unless I can eat the results (don’t THINK you can eat Glads !

question: why is Gavin Williamson STILL in charge at the DfE ?

Stoker48 Wed 06-Jan-21 11:15:17

Best advice?
Years ago when my world fell apart a relative told me “ not to be a victim”.
I was indignant at the time but understand now. She also said to put two bin liners in your kitchen waste bin so there’s always one spare. That’s useful advice.
Mine would be “ don’t always believe what you think”.
Following on from the swimming in the sea, may I ask if anyone has ever been to a nudist beach?
On a mad whim, I challenged myself to go Brighton Nudist Beach last year.. the full Monty.

FannyCornforth Wed 06-Jan-21 11:19:59

Nudist beach - no! It's a hellish thought blush

What is your favourite ever thread you've read on here?

Moggycuddler Wed 06-Jan-21 11:26:39

This is a bit confusing!!! (Or is it only me?)
What's your favourite season of the year? (Mine is Autumn.)

FannyCornforth Wed 06-Jan-21 11:32:12

Moggie answer the question the poster above you has asked, then ask your own.
It's only confusing because it's a bit busy!

A: favourite season - Autumn too
Q: favourite male singer?

Moggycuddler Wed 06-Jan-21 11:47:21

Fave male singer- David Bowie, I think!

inthewrongroom Wed 06-Jan-21 11:58:38

There are soo many forums how could you have a favourite? I suppose anyones favourite would be the one that most helps your individual need at that time?

Q: when was the last time you "skidaddled"!!?

Mollygo Wed 06-Jan-21 12:46:20

Q. When was the last time you skiddaddled?
A few years ago in France, I was in a shopping centre when all the lights went out and people were shouting fire / bomb and generally screaming.
A. We skidaddled as fast as we could, raced across the car park and then sat in a queue with others desperate to get out, panicking like mad.

Q. How cold would it have to be before you wear a woolly hat?

Kim19 Wed 06-Jan-21 12:47:18

A German river cruise in very select company.

In general, do you prefer the company of men or women?

Kim19 Wed 06-Jan-21 12:50:11

Apologies! I always wear a hat seldom woolly but no problem with that at all.

In general, do you prefer the company of men or women?

Jaxjacky Wed 06-Jan-21 12:55:41

Generally prefer the company of men

Have you ever grown vegetables?

schnackie Wed 06-Jan-21 13:04:37

The confusion on here is making me laugh so hard!!
I have grown a few tomatoes, not very successfully!
Question - do you make a point to listen to music every day?

Alison333 Wed 06-Jan-21 13:10:35

Yes, I grew some lettuces and was very proud of them. Unfortunately, some slugs and snails demolished them over night. The following morning I counted 38 snails in the vicinity and I'm ashamed to say I hurled them over the wall, but I was only 12.

Did you prefer English or Maths at school?

lizzypopbottle Wed 06-Jan-21 13:12:00

No, I don't listen to music every day.

What time do you eat your breakfast and what do you have?

Laurensnan Wed 06-Jan-21 13:13:00

Answer.....no I don't but I should do. I should also get exercise and dance around the room to it. My new daily aim now.
Q ...Are you sitting trying to think of an original question ?

lizzypopbottle Wed 06-Jan-21 13:13:35

This reminds me of the Two Ronnies mastermind sketch where they answered the previous question! ???

Laurensnan Wed 06-Jan-21 13:13:53

Oops!

Laurensnan Wed 06-Jan-21 13:14:34

??????

Laurensnan Wed 06-Jan-21 13:16:07

I don't eat breakfast til around 11, usually have toast.
Q ... Cat or dog lover?.

Stoker48 Wed 06-Jan-21 13:16:12

I’m loving that some of the answers are out of sync.
Eg “ How cold would you have to be to wear a woolly hat?”

“ On a German River Cruise in very select company”.

Not quite a 100% fit but I’m laughing at the scene of the “select company” cruisers wearing their finery and Mollygo turning up in a wooly hat!

SisterAct Wed 06-Jan-21 13:16:30

Definitely English. I didn’t get my Math GCSE, until I was 35
(Failed completely at 0level). Went on to do a degree in Early Childhood Studies and then teacher My dissertation I want to play not do Maths!!

Is there something new you have learnt to do ?

WOODMOUSE49 Wed 06-Jan-21 13:19:51

A Yes I am and this is it.

Q What’s the weirdest smell you have ever smelled?
