To all those who have posted supportive messages and sent kind PMs in the last days, after my scary stay in hospital this week, I cannot find the words to say how much it has meant to me at a very low point.

I'm overwhelmed, but just can't find the energy to reply to all the PMs at the moment, so please don't think I'm ignoring you all.

This is GN at it's very best, when there have been some not so nice moments recently.

My special thanks to my pal, Chewbacca, who took the time to let my GN pals know, why I had vanished.

To the lurkers (I don't really like that word), who have never posted before, you have left me speechless with your kindness. ?

Perhaps, Marydoll, we should call 'lurkers' observers?
Less sinister connotations?
Take care

Another one who didn't know you'd been unwell. Hope you are feeling much better for being at home and are soon back to full health.

So pleased to hear that you are at home and hopefully in your own bed and not baking in the kitchen!

I understand it is a 4 letter word and in your case usually avoided or ignored but rest is top of the list, please.

Welcome home Marydoll. Seeing your wee granddaughter and your son must have been the icing on the cake for you! I filled up to be honest.

I can’t wait for your next novella about the amusing happenings whilst you were on the ward.

You reap what you sow Marydoll So if you've been showered with kindness and good wishes, it's because you've shared those sentiments so generously towards others in the past. Glad you're back posting and keeping us up to date on the happenings at Chez Doll. flowers

Marydoll I'm another one who didn't realise you were in hospital, sorry.
I've often thought how bravely you cope with your problems and still dispense wise advice to the rest of us.
Best wishes for a good rest and recovery now xx

Can I echo what Charleygirl has said, Marydoll, you must do as the Doctor orders.
We know what you're like whizzing around making sure everyone is all right, now it's your turn to be looked after.

Squiffy Thu 07-Jan-21 15:20:39

I'm another who had no idea you had a hospital stay Marydoll. It's so good to read that you received so much support from GN after all the unpleasantness that has been going on. Onwards and upwards! Wishing you a speedy recovery and look forward to 'meeting' you on GN again soon. flowers
