Glad that you are back home safely Marydoll. I missed the news of your hospital stay too but I’ve realised that one of the reasons I enjoy your posts so much is because of your positivity and I’m sure that as long as you obey orders it will help you return to better health.

Glad to know you are getting better. Hospitals are scary places and even more so at the moment.

I think Ellan Vannin summed up how we all feel about you Marydoll - you are just like family!

So please do what we all tell you which is rest and recover. We need you as well as you can be and in your usual sparkling form asap.

Once you're feeling stronger why not dictate/record your happenings, so later you can turn them into a book: 'The Adventures (misadventures?) Of Marydoll'- it would be full of amusing anecdotes-I'd buy it! X

Indeed. His long suffering wifie is named Mary but is always referred to as Marydoll by Rab.

Oh baubles! I didn't know that!
I've never been able to watch Rab C. as I can't understand the accent (I know!)

Marydoll was how my colleagues referred to me! Many an email started affectionately with, Dear MD, they found it highly amusing, because I was always very particular about my appearance. Everything had to match, including my underwear Rab's wife was of course the epitomy of elegance. ?
