Did you read about the wagon driver minding his own business eating his ham sandwiches-----then had them confiscated because the meat was from another country ?
It happened as a UK driver was at the Dutch border and Dutch police made him remove the ham after reminding the driver that no imports were allowed, but left him with the bread.

My daughter put an order in to an EU company just before Christmas and has had a notice that it's held up at customs...

I have just received a belated Christmas present from Austria and had to pay customs tax on it, now we aren’t in the EU.

Be aware if ordering from abroad or receiving parcels this may be the case.
