Also chilli or over spicy food. like hot curry.

Coriander tastes like soap to me, raw onions including spring onions that seem to be scattered over so many dishes as a garnish and taint the whole thing, smelly cheese and smelly fish.

Curry (don’t like anything really spicy). Can’t eat salmon and hate the smell of it too. Avocado, think it tastes like soap. Eat most other things though and will happily try new foods.

Trifle made with jelly and sponge. The soggy sponge encased in jelly - yuk! I love sponge cake and I like jelly, but the two combined makes me heave!

Faggots too - it’s the smell

Peanut butter

Marmite

Artichokes. Squid. Oysters. Weird cheeses.

I don't think I'm missing much grin

Sweet potatoes ... lived off those in the Canaries. Tasted like soap

Sara1954 Thu 14-Jan-21 12:31:11

Rice pudding

ixion Thu 14-Jan-21 12:28:51

Peanut butter.
Pease pudding (Sorry, Mum!)

janeymooli Thu 14-Jan-21 12:24:34

Coriander, cauliflower, fennel and boiled potatoes - sorry, no offence intended!!!! Love Marmite though!..... Saral1954

Another one for goats cheese and cream, also olives, most meat, especially liver!
Marmite, and I agree about coriander, awful flavour.

Charleygirl5 Thu 14-Jan-21 12:20:44

Custard, rice pudding, tapioca and anything remotely close.

Fried and poached eggs, hot or cold milk and porridge.

I can tolerate cold milk with cereal but I remember too well of crates of milk sitting in front of a radiator at school.

I think I would add tinned meat tuna and anchovies also.

I prefer cheese to any dessert.

I hate the smell of curry and can't bring myself to try it. Raw carrots and onions, so I don't buy ready-made salads as they are often padded out with these. Parsley tastes peculiar to me and I'm not keen on anything heavily spiced, not even pepper. Yes, I'm weird too.

cornishpatsy Thu 14-Jan-21 12:11:26

Coriander, not a food but for me spoils a lot of dishes.

Looking at tinned food to have a bit of a store cupboard I saw tinned stewing steak and mince, I don't think I could eat that.

Witzend Thu 14-Jan-21 12:03:25

Fennel - I’ve tried, but it still tastes vile
Goat’s cheese, ditto, and it smells vile too.
Meat fat ?
Cream (and milk, unless it’s in coffee or a sauce etc.) ? again.
(Yes, I know I’m weird.)

Herrings, that awful tripe we used to have when we were young. Nasty white stuff with onions. I don’t like honey, either but that’s about it, I like most food.
