You have just won a competition ( maybe not on GN), for a lifetime’s supply of the last thing you bought. What have you won?

Me: Graded pieces of music for the clarinet and Sauvignon Blanc.

A cage to protect ground feeding birds when they're eating seed - not sure how many of those I'd need in a lifetime!

Saucepans! - a requested present for my niece.

Tesco grocery delivery, how wonderful that would be.

Jumpers for my DD ( and annoyingly, now that I know I could have a lifetime supply) in her tiny size!

White curtain rings and glue sticks for fabric. Well at least I'll be able to patchwork (EPP) to my hearts content, but I only have one white curtain pole :-(

I was told I had won a teddy bear and a bunch of flowers when I entered a charity raffle. Since I have no kids and I have hay fever I told them I did not want the prize.

Tryptophan supplements to lift my mood and a jigsaw stand!

Bluecat Wed 20-Jan-21 09:52:03

Batteries, adhesive pads and disposable plastic gloves. Useful but not very exciting.

Lucky me, I've just bought a dress from a very nice shop in town. I'm waiting for it to be delivered today. (And many more dresses to come - hurrah)

Flowers so I’m happy with that

PamelaJ1 Wed 20-Jan-21 09:49:49

A greenhouse heater. One of those long pole things.

What does a lifetimes supply mean? Do I wait till it stops working and get a replacement or do they get delivered on a regular basis.
I think it means the former so I will, probably, never need another.
