Good morning, Mick, hope you are fine somewhere, and good morning all from a grey and damp but mild Cumbrian coast.
My Australian GS1 is 18 on Saturday and his mum is compiling a card full of words of wisdom from the rest of the family . I quoted the following lines to her "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, Old Time is fast a-flying" etc (Robert Herrick). In other words, whatever you dream of doing in your life, get on with it. The young think they have an eternity in front of them to do things but when you're getting ancient, you wonder at the speed life has flown by when you've still got lots of stuff you want to do.
I don't suppose it will cut much ice with him. Perhaps it should not, it doesn't seem natural for a young person to think of getting old and dying.
And with that cheerful thought, I am off to check out my woolies, I spotted a clothes moth in the bedroom last night.
Wishing the best to all of you with troubles.
