Maybe exactly where you are, maybe somewhere else.
I’d like to be in Far North Queensland!

Simples! Australia, we always miss our family (son, DIL, two granddaughters) but never more so than now and wonder how long it will be before we can see them again.

I want to be in the UK and visit Cornwall.

My flat in Paris with the window open so I could hear and smell the noises and scents which are like nowhere else in the world.

In Hawaii, on holiday with my family. (I took this photo there.....)

I’d be camping on Anglesey with my family. It would be the warmest, sunniest February on record wink.

Because it’s a dream, my mum would be with us again. We camped as a whole family (Mum, Dad, and us AC with our families) every year.

I would love to be lying on a beach in foreign country . With the sun beating down on me and the smell of sun tan lotion . The noise of the waves lapping on the beach ⛱️ and the chitta chatter of people in all different languages .

I’ve changed my mind - can I be in the lovely warm Caribbean with little Gdcs please.
Dds and SiLs are more than welcome to come too, but SiLs will be required to go back and forth to the beach bar for top ups. ?

In our local pub, drinking beer with my lovely friends.

With my daughters and their families in Cornwall, probably in the park with all four grandchildren followed by a snuggle up on the sofa with them all with hot chocolate and a film. My daughters live across the road from each other so the children are very close and although they have large age gaps, boys 13 and 12 each with a little sister 4 and 3 they still love to snuggle with Nanny, thank goodness.?

On a beach, any traditional sandy beach with a pier and seagulls, with all the family. In fact, anywhere at all with all the family. A bit of sunshine would be nice if we’re outside. smile

Easy question for me! Would love to be in a villa in Menorca with the whole family. Only two hours flying time and you are there. Lovely people, great food and perfect weather even when it rains.

Somewhere in Italy in June on a lounger by a pool, with a really good book, having just swum twenty lengths and with a cup of coffee at my elbow. Or in the Campo in Siena at a café, watching the passeggiata and drinking prosecco.

Sitting around a table with all the family. I care not where the table is!

My father was Brazilian and I had a lovely holiday there 2 years ago with my daughter. We visited Rio, where we saw the Christ the Redeemer statue and the Sugar Loaf mountain, saw a Samba show, and went to the famous Copacabana beach. Then on to Sao Paulo, and Iguazu Falls. Stayed in some nice hotels and enjoyed everything. It was a bit hot though! Would love to go to this fabulous country again.

Gasparilla Island, a nature reserve on the Gulf coast of Florida. Turquoise sea, deserted beaches and dunes.

Have spent several happy Januarys there and it’s a technicolour world instead of the black and white version we have here at the moment!

In Venice sitting outside a cafe alongside the Grand Canal with a glass of wine, watching the comings and goings.

In a lovely warm garden anywhere, blue skies no covid. With children and grandchildren all playing happily. Having a laid back lunch

I would love to be back in Majorca with my DD at our favourite hotel near the beach and drinking coffee at our favourite tapa bar watching the world go by,we had to cancel last year and no chance this year either. I think can't wait to get back there.

Anywhere with my arms tightly around my children and grandchildren.

Treetops05 Tue 02-Feb-21 11:19:27

I'd be sitting in the main square in Brugge, a Kwak beer in hand, waiting for my steak frites to arrive
