Sitting at the beach watching the beautiful sunset. The ocean and waves are so calming.

Somewhere warm and sunny, with my family all together, marrying my OH, able to swim in the sea, snorkel and watch the fishes, and enjoy some nice meals out. Be a long time yet before that though I imagine!

It has been so difficult this last year and it just seems to get worse each week - I just want to gain more peace and tranquility I suppose. Every time I say next week has got to better it isn’t!!

One week has got to be....

Anyway still alive so that’s a plus.

With my entire family on Manly beach, Sydney. Throwing prawns on the barby, a few lagers, watching the surfing.

In DUMBO New York, currently covered with deep snow, but warm and cosy within my son’s apartment with my grandchildren . It’s a year this week since we were with them and when my little granddaughter said “:will we ever see you again Nanny?” it summed up the horrendous effects of this pandemic. Let’s hope the world can get the vaccine as soon as possible.

There is a quiet little bay just outside the appartment we stayed at in Pefkos- Rhodes for the last 4 years.. I can have it to myself for a lot of the day & never more than 3 or 4 other sunbeds taken. I can spend all day there with my Kindle meeting up with DG for lunch ( he is not a fan of sun all day & prefers to stay by the pool.)
Won't see it this year & did not get there last year but next year I do so hope to go back.

I’d like to be at Patagonia Camp in Chile. A wonderful eco camp. I was there 3 years ago with a friend after visiting Easter Island. I’d like to take my husband with me this time!

In the arms of my family having a hug. Yes a heartfelt hug from my children and grandchildren would do me very nicely just now. Its been soooooo long.?

I'm fine here thanks. I love my house, my children live in Scotland as do my Grandchildren. We are a small family and are not spread all over the world. I have all I need and most of what I want. Thanks I am indeed content and not chasing rainbows.

Much as I would love to see my family, today I am tired and grumpy and a bit fed up with domestic and caring responsibilities! So I am going to say, on holiday in Italy with my friend of 40 years standing, picking ripe, warm cherries from the tree in the garden of the tiny cottage we rented for a week a few years ago.
