I was just thinking that the NHS guidelines say that you are not allowed to have private and NHS treatment for the same condition but the two pathways must be entirely seperate. Does anyone think that after going into a private hospital Philip then joined the queue for NHS treatment?

I can't help thinking Meghan did probably upset some of her staff. Mark Knauf made a complaint against her in 2018 and I believe 3 of the Sussex staff left after just a few months in their employ. I also read Duchess Catherine pulled Meghan.up about the way she spoke to one of her staff at Kensington Palace. The Queen is also said to have stepped in when Meghan had a meltdown shortly before her wedding when she wanted that tiara brought to her immediately and was told protocol was it would take up to a week but she could not have the green one she wanted. Harry supposedly shouted at staff 'What Meghan wants, Meghan gets' before Queen stepped in to tell Harry ' Meghan has tiarra she is given'. I think Harry has a temper on him as well as Meghan.

I don't see why not, I have no objection just as I have no objection to any UK citizen receiving NHS treatment free at the point of delivery.

Perhaps the people shouting about personal attacks could look more closely at their own posting styles, I haven't seen many on this forum, including myself, that couldn't do with winding in their necks sometimes.
It's tedious and petulant, and perhaps we could make an effort to get over ourselves more often instead of finger pointing and belittling other people's contributions.

I speak as an often guilty party who doesn't think she's too old to learn.

Good to hear that Prince Philip has had a successful procedure, but interesting that he was moved from an expensive fee paying private hospital to a National Health Hospital.

It's because the expensive private hospital doesn't carry out the type of procedure which he has possibly had done at Bart's. It's a centre of excellence for heart surgery and has performed many operations on people of P Philip's age and even older.

As others have said, Diana’s death was down to a drunk driver and her not wearing a seat belt. If you do believe it you should really stop reading conspiracy theories and/or rags like The National Enquirer, a publication of the kind that Meghan has claimed don't exist in the USA . As for Meghan being clueless, she knows EXACTLY what she’s doing, has done and will continue doing unless somebody puts a stop to it.

Trying to be fair here but judging from the Americans I have met some can be very straight talking, they don't intend to be rude but just "tell it like it is". Could this talk of bullying merely be a clash of cultures?

I think I need to point out that when I said she needed to learn some manners and restraint, I was talking about MM, and not anybody on this site.

I don’t begrudge the royal family but I wish they were a little more open, especially now about Prince Philip. It looks as if they are lying when they say’ he is in good spirits, ‘it is obvious he was very seriously ill and probably not really conscious.
