Will Camilla be known as Queen Consort
Men asking questions from another room!
Some news about our H o S
RF family want their 1969 documentary to be taken off air. The Queen was talking in it about a governor that looked like a gorilla, in one little clip, of docu seen on twitter.
Queen doesn't want her various shares and their values in companies made public too embarrassing. And lobbied in the 70s to be made exempt from new law. She has millions in off shore accounts.
P Charles land owner lobbied to be exempt from new leaseholder legislation that would have allowed homeowners to buy the land their property sits on.
And when people from the Duchy die with no living relatives P Charles gets the money, with other landowners around the country money goes to the treasury
Then there is Andrew
The 20,000 Sandringham Estate gets millions in subsidies
Queen gets her Wendy house refurbished to her own specifications including a new thatched roof.
Meanwhile in other news a little boy stole a tin of soup because he was so hungry, never mind.

Will Camilla be known as Queen Consort
The Queen doesn't have to remain as our monarch until she dies 3nanny she could step down and hand the crown over to Charles but I can't ever see her doing that.
I think it's because he lacks the courage of his own conviction EllanVannin and mistakenly it appears, thought that by doing it the way they have, they would get all the sympathy and the RF all of the blame.
Agree
Why didn't Harry just come right out with it and tell his family straight that life with the RF wasn't what he and Meghan wanted instead of using his mother's death as a scapegoat/ excuse for wanting to live in the States ?
Afterall, nobody was going to send them to the tower for wanting to live their own lives.
Diana ? Who was bestie with the press and the cameras , it has
become a fairy tale
I caught a snippet of Jeremy Vine this morning, a caller was quoting the Africa interview wherein Meghan said that she'd known it wasn't going to be easy, but that she had expected it to be fair...
In what parallel universe was that then? And fair to who?
Given what happened to Diana I think it's well established that the media is not fair. Especially to royals who rebel.
Whatever way I look this, and I have really tried to see it from every angle, the only person this ever favours in attention is Meghan. It doesn't even favour Harry - is there anyone out there who isn't wincing for him every time he opens his mouth?
He clearly adores her, so why isn't she being a bit more fair to him and allowing him to recover his mental health by living the quiet, private life they are so keen to emphasise they want...
It's all ball cocks isn't it?
He was Anniebach I remember that now.
Harry was very vocal in saying how she was welcomed by the
family she had never had
Let's say hypothetically that behind closed doors, the royals were horrible to her on a personal level. That wouldn't be a pleasant experience for anyone. But, a) she was afforded a lot of generosity and kindness, wedding, titles, cottage, patronages, Sandringham invite before being married, a fair bit of one on one time with the Queen and b) even if they were horrible, she is NOT a hard done by person by any stretch. And Meghan claims to be a humanitarian. Does she really think she's suffering? That she's an oppressed woman? Give me a break.
Sooner or later Prince Philip will die. He is 99 years old after all. However it would be extremely unfortunate should he die the very same week of Harry and Meghan’s Oprah interview. That could cause a great deal of conflict for the RF.
It’s not so much that Oprah won’t put the boot in (she won’t or they wouldn’t be doing it) it’s the furore that will follow any revelations. If there is any criticism, backhanded or otherwise of the Queen, especially now, there’s bound to be a backlash. I suppose they’re safe from the UK’s toxic press now but if anything happens to the DoE, will Harry be comfortable or even made welcome if he returns for the funeral?
Oprah is different because they are getting paid for it.
I'm more than aware that Charles will be King btw.
I’m guessing that It’s because Oprah is not waiting to put the boot in.
All very interesting : although I still don't remember any of this from school we only learnt about the older Kings and Queens dating right back historically.
Obviously the Queen gets her stamina from the Queen
Mother as she lived until almost 102 and was still carrying out royal duties.
I am a Royalist . I think the Queen and her family do an amazing job in often difficult circumstances, on our behalf and we get a lot in return. Yes they have privileges and have to fight for privacy it seems none more so than Prince Harry. He was turning into a credit to his family with his Invictus games- no doubt this was an excellent cause and he was able to draw on a wealth of connections to pull them off- the rest of us would have found it impossible I think. ???
Then there’s Sentebale- again great cause and away from home.
Promoting mental health issues we all knew where he was coming from with that.
Harry has not had an easy start to life obviously and I can quite understand being the spare he needs to protect his family’s non royal future. There have been numerous spats and court cases with the press . So please can anyone explain to me why us Oprah different?
Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother was formerly the Queen Consort, ie the wife of George VIth the reigning king. There would not be any question of her reigning after his death. she became the Queen Mother, and Queen Mary who was the previous Queen Mother, became the Dowager Queen Mary.
Because it was the King who was the descendent of the RF, it doesn’t go to the spouse it goes on down through the RF children . Or if none , then, siblings etc
Oh I did not know she had to be Queen until she died, you learn something everyday. We had the Queen Mother for many years so why was she not Queen when her husband died
as then we had a King and Queen.
I should have paid more attention at school.
I think others have represented her at various occasions over the last few years.
Have to admire her stamina. Pretty amazing really.
She doesn’t need to stand aside as that’s not how it works. Her engagements have been scaled back and other members can carry out the walkabout stuff but she’s Queen until she dies then Long Live The King but she’ll be a tough act to follow.
Perhaps she could feel that her age is going against her at 96 years or at least I think that is her age maybe she would like to retire, after all she has served for a long time.
Why would she stand aside?
It seems the Duke of Edinburghs health is not good, he has now been transferred to a different hospital for treatment. Is he likely to improve, and if anything happened to him I wonder would the queen stand aside and hand over to Charles to become king.
But does she? Really? Not sure three articles from a South African online 'news' site, using some pictures of her Maj that are older than me and listing every time she gave out a prize or had to turn up at a frilly frock do are proof of insidious corruption and nefarious dealings.
The cousins had learning difficulties, not dementia I believe. What they have to do with her Maj is that she was led to believe that they had died, when they hadn't. When the story broke way back, like everything else tenuously connected to the RF that's a bit 'off' it was used as a stick to beat them with.
My guess is that the Queen is more sinned against than sinning when it comes to Arabic dudes subjugating their wives and daughters, as in she is not complicit. Just potentially 'guilty' by association? I meant are we talking sweaty pictures with schoolgirls in the home of Epstein guilty by association, or giving a cup at a horse race and being a the same banquet along with 100 other people guilty by association?
Does anyone know that she has encouraged close contact since the incident with the kidnapping? Genuine question because I have no idea.
